(It was originally going to be longer, but I completely forgot where I was going with this. I desperately need to stop writing while half asleep!)
Have you ever...
Have you ever dreamed of swimming in an aurora?
Of floating through those beautiful lights?
Dreamed of feeling the colors wrap around you,
Those soft, cool arms of the night?
Have you ever wished you could reach the moon,
That you could grab it out of the sky?
Imagine wrapping your hands around it's faint warmth.
Such a sweet temptation, impossible to deny.
Have you ever imagined pulling the stars out of the sky?
What a spectacular gift for the one you love.
Or even to just be able to claim them as your own,
To give them a gift, something from the heavens above.
Have you ever had these dreams?
These silly, lovesick fantasies?
These nighttime escapes,
From daytimes tragedies.
