War Zone
Concussions of fire
plummet down on the earth of my soul
feeling the ashes of contempt settle
into the drought cracks of my being
sensing the glare of the self righteous
burn my sensitive luster
till I'm naked and bare to the skin
wilted yet never defeated
And grace arose
greeting the salvo of fire
amidst a war zone
of life fighting for survival
armed with faith in possibilities
it dared to stand out
dared defy the haters
dared dream
that replenishing waters
merely an exhale away
Believing within another day's growth
another mistake's absolution
exists a chance to shine
to bask in the warmth of promise
to look to the morn
with dewed eyes of hope's potential

Nothing Changes Under The Sun
Echoes endless
in canyons of glass,
Will this screaming
ever cease?
Rise up from the mecca of dirt
On my hands and knees begging please!!
Arise from this slum
We sit back in our arm chairs and drown in rum
Blackcurrants grow on trees
poison to the touch
Pedophiles walk round freely
grabbing there ass and crutch
Attackers, attack
as the world keeps turning
I duck for cover
as this city keeps burning
Broken body’s piled in the kerb
Shattered family’s
waiting for the word
Handbag snatchers,
child catchers,
Murders and scum
Car thief’s, Burglars,
benefit, thieves and the dumb.
Political back handers,
neighbours like salamanders
Nothing will ever change.
Like unidentified
Faceless targets
added to a shooting range
In this hellish utopia
my face wasn’t thrilled,
Hatred bottled,
forever distilled
I should have known better
I’ve come undone
Nothing changes under the sun

in a verbal cage feeding on the hot air that I beltch
I lured it in to its ultimate entrapment, with waves upon waves
Of enourmously potent and suggestively powerful content

A drop of sweat from my brow as it spews words from its kindle
I was blessed by the gods, gained their verbal and mental capacity
Before my exhistance demons had found scarcity in the face of audacity
In my creation the demons saw the soul and the mind of a literary machinist
The only one capable of harnessing this fiery ball of demonic genious
Now burdened with this knowledge, purpose, and godlike fiery intensity
My passion ever burns with the fires of hell in this verbal cage of destiny
in a verbal cage feeding on the hot air that I beltch
