Daily Pain

I awake
But yet I'm still asleep
I move
But yet I an standing still

I smile
I laugh
But yet I always want to cry
My pain is unseen

Questions flood my head
many of which begin with- why?
Why so much pain
So much heartache and struggles

I see my loved ones in my dreams
Playing with friends
Holding my babies
Oh how I wish i could see them in reality

The cut of the blade
Is losing its touch
Pretty soon
It won't be enough

Is anyone out there
Can anyone see
The struggles the pain
I deal with daily?
