Rebirth's Journey
a soul's travel in space and time
fulfillment of existence's grand design
weaving in the threads in rich tapestry
rebirth's journey being a cosmic dance
diving into birth in countless land
enchanting in its journey
riches in experiences
in evolution of mind and form
from dusts working towards the sublime
from the loamy soil
ethereal in its first burst
a blade of grass emerges
hearing the cosmic thunder
of creation
caressed by the sun nurtured by the rain
as nature sang it's creations into being
with the breeze soothing music in the first dawn
winter kills the grass
and it's essence floats up
waiting to enter another beauty
on a small tree a bud blooms
fragrant flower unfurls
now a bright red rose
in fragrant allure and splendour
from a blade of grass to rose
proudly shows off its face
towards the gently shining sun
destiny beckons and rose wilts
surrendering it's once pretty petals
to the gloom of the soil below
and gently it falls and essence's free once more
from a vague knowledge
of a greedily feeding caterpillar
it wakes up to a brightness
and wonders what lies ahead
Unfurls its wings, the butterfly flies
admiring it's freedom from a stem
colours of different hues on its wings
it dances on air delicate and elegant
kissing every flowers, Roses most of all
It flies and flutter
but to dates it surrenders
flies and stand on a yellow leaf
and falls asleep in death
It flutters awake from gloom
looks up to mother feeding
it and it's siblings
it opens its mouth in wonder
towards all bright and beautiful
it flies for flowers sweet nectar
but to roses it merely kisses
vague memories of being that beauty
the hummingbird darts here and there
savouring every day
with joy in its every flight
as it knows there will be a time to go
the hummingbird's flight ends too
from the essence an albatross emerges
it navigates the highway of the sky
over many seas, island and vast oceans
the albatross a solitary wanderer
the sky it's roof the earth it's floor
the wind it's thoroughfare in the air
the cycle persists the albatross fades
a new life bursts in newness
a baby is born of a couple
who lives by the sea
the little girl by the sea
where salts meet sands
and the waves never end
stares at the sky with eyes full of dreams
she gazes at the horizon
almost feeling the ocean's embrace
her spirit entwined with the wind blowing on her face
roses fragrance wafting in her face
the connection unbroken within
her essence's bond forever binding.

My future in a casket?
the black crows, cawing laugh
ends exit sign that flickers
my winters chilling draught
trading with the Devil
or any God that listens
my unwritten Will in blood
before my body stiffens
hear the raging clamour
the golden trading kite
Plutus, from the floor I soar
do what the HELL I LIKE!
unlimited potential
a never waning star
Midas jealous as can be
financing a new Farrari car
no need to wish a fairy
with wand of sparkled rays
leading out the circus
in my ticker tape parade
I mock your green
and jealous eye
the prophet come
and cast the die
for this was predetermined
best info not hooky
for my last meal
found in a fortune cookie
it lead the path to riches
from poverty and pain
to live as I was destined
not scrape for riches gain
a pyramid to envy
like Tutankhamun’s tomb
unearthed prospectus
just waiting to be groomed
laughing
in the spotlight just to croon
wear the badge of envy
deaths original cheater
mine to crow the morning
existing in the ether
jumping in and oust the rest
a cuckoo feathering its nest
floating on a crested peak
as they lay me down to rest
the rockets jewelled golden streak
a bitcoin shining sleek

Black Jack: The Legacy of Pershing
In the relentless flow of time's grand arc,
Rebirth cast me anew,
A soul once woven in history's stark,
Emerges in a world it once knew.
They called me Black Jack, a name from the past,
In this new life, under a different sun,
Yet echoes of old wars thrum in my heart so vast,
Where battles raged and rivers of blood did run.
In dreams, I march through No Man's Land,
Amidst the relentless thunder of the guns,
Where tanks plowed through the muddied land,
Beneath the smoke that blotted out the suns.
I hear the deafening roar of artillery,
See the trenches, deep and dreadfully wide,
Men huddled in mud, facing mortality,
In a terrifying, endless, hideous tide.
Gas clouds billowing, a suffocating haze,
A ghastly dance in barbed wire's embrace,
Haunted eyes lost in the shell's smoky maze,
The ghostly look on each young soldier's face.
I teach of battles, of Somme and Marne's plight,
Of Verdun's endless, bloodied churn,
Where humanity's dreams were torn in the night,
In each scar, a poignant lesson to learn.
Now, far from war's ear-shattering scream,
In classrooms, I speak of valor, of fear,
Each tale a fragment of a soldier's dream,
Echoes of the past, resonating clear.
Yet, in this modern guise, I keenly see,
A reflection of a past so dark and stark,
A general once, in history's unforgiving spree,
Now a guardian of memories, a guiding ark.
Through fields of peace, I walk with unseen ghosts,
Their whispers in the wind, a silent choir,
In this new life, merely a host,
To a past set ablaze by war's ruthless fire.
In this era, no armies at my command,
No troops to marshal, no bugle's mournful call,
But in each lesson, a memory stands,
A testament to history, standing tall.
For I am Black Jack, reborn with a mission to teach,
A link to a past both fierce and free,
In every story told, a far-reaching breach,
To bridge the days from what was, to what will be.
They called it "the war to end all wars," a bitter jest,
For in my heart, the truth burns ever so clear,
Wars rage on, humanity's unending quest,
In Pershing's soul, the hope and the tear.
So, let me guide, let me reveal, let me be,
A conduit for history's relentless, surging sea,
In every echo of the battles, a plea,
In Pershing's heart, the quest for peace, an unending decree.
