I'd like to thank everyone who participated in my competition. I enjoyed each and every one of your submissions, but the format only allows me 1 winner and 2 runner-ups. In my eyes, all of your poems are winning quality.

Snugglebuck: Congratulations on winning! You've written about death in a positive manner, and not even necessarily about actual death. Just the transition from one season to another. All in all, I greatly enjoyed your poem and the ethereal hope I felt.

Miss_Sub: You've taken on a different tone than the rest of the submissions that made your poem stand out. I was gripping the edge of my seat as I've dreaded but also felt curious about meeting this dark lord of the hunt. Well done.

wallyroo92: As I've already written, the melancholy of your poem is balanced out by the hope and acceptance of the mother as she believes her dead sons live on as those spirits. I enjoyed reading your poem, so well done.

Thanks again for participating, and I hope to see you all in November's competition that I'll upload in a few minutes.
