I know time is approaching and very much like myself I have created this last thread flying off the seat of my jockstraps.
Just for a bit o'fun i've made this little space as a countdown to closing day, post many or as little poems you like, no word counts, no themes, whatever you feel like, you can moo into the eternal void if it cleanses your soul of poetic methane if it pleases you 🐄 we listen and we don't judge in this here field.
Two rules:
-Don't be a fkn dick, i'll happily call it out.
-Have fun while you're here slags, it aint a crime.
Here's to you DU, to the people, to the misfists, rejects, peacemakers, the beautiful bastards, stay good lookin'

The Cows were mooing in their field
of grass so lush and deep,
the Webmiss in her cosy bed
was snoring, fast asleep,
then xthan, with a little moo,
said 'Cows, before too long
we'll all be dead, so raise your head,
let's moo one final song:
All together now!
WE ARE THE COWS OF THE UNDERGROUND
AND WE DON'T GIVE A SHITE!
WE'LL MOO OUR POEMS ALL DAY LONG
WE'LL MOO ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT!
SO COME ON, COWS! WE MAY BE DOOMED,

Is my puppy a dog, or is he a cow?
He doesn't say moo, but he rarely bow-wows.
He stares me down with that dead bovine gaze
saying "fuck your rules, lady, I've got hell to raise!"
(This photo does not do his dead stare justice. That cow picture actually made me think of him immediately!)

brokentitanium, one April night,
was walking her dog on a lead,
when all of a sudden it took a big bite
and made brokentitanium bleed.
'You bad bad dog!' cried brokentitanium
and gave it a smack on its head.
The dog wasn't happy, and brokentitanium
became cheweduptitanium instead.
