First Quarter Square OOBn Moon @ 15°CAN33', 10:15 PM, EDT: A Time of Profound Understanding and Integrating Opposites.
The first quarter moon can be seen as a symbol of growth and planning. This is because the moon is burgeoning toward the fullness of her light. This is called the "yang" phase, a masculine reference which implies strength and determination to achieve the fullness of one's goals.
This is also in alignment with the Spring months - a time of work and preparation to reap the harvest of labor. Rest will come in the symbolic winter, or "yin" phase of the Moon.
Dignified in Cancer, the Moon represents the devoted and intuitive maternal who nurtures home and family; thus, devotion, sensitivity, and patience are enhanced. However, there comes a time such as this, that it's important to distance ourselves to re-evaluate our methods of obtaining our goals to ensure our actions align with our desires.
Are they honorable? Are they carried out with integrity and collective purpose that benefits all? Are we still on the right track, or have we strayed due to distraction? Have we become discouraged and given up on our goals?
Because the Moon is OOB, we may feel somewhat disconnected, as though we are on the periphery of whatever is occurring around us. We may even feel separated from ourselves and experience an ungrounded sense of stability. Awareness that the Moon is OOB will help with this energy.
With Vesta in retrograde, focusing on clutter-clearing our environment is highlighted. This includes our emotional feelings and thought process. The cleaner our surroundings, and thoughts, the easier new energy can enter and flow along with fresh clarity.

Once you begin to recognize your own repetitive patterns and those of the seasons and their subsequent inclusions, such as observations and holidays, you'll begin to associate how they affect you with a clearer understanding.
Becoming attune to the Moon will actually become a natural way for you to plan out your intentions and the subsequent pathways to follow them to fruition. Regardless of what the heavens look like from Earth, or how our lives seem to be on hold at times, one thing remains true above this ever-changing atmosphere: the Moon remains in perfect sync with her cycle.
When we understand that, we understand we are never stuck or stationary despite feeling such. On the contrary, we are ever evolving with the power to change our perspective with a single thought.

Weekly Oracle Reading, Sunday, April 06 - 12, 2025
I felt compelled to choose The Healing Spirits Oracle by Gordon Smith this month for two reasons: 1) I feel there needs to be a mass amount of healing energy sent outward across the globe, 2) As a reminder that unless we heal ourselves first, it's difficult to facilitate healing for others, unless we are both aware that we're healing together.

This suite works with the immediate part of our lives to help us build and strengthen our energy and to keep it flowing while we develop a better sense of self.
One of the first lessons toward healing is self-admission—owning our own choices and actions. Learning that it's okay to be wrong because everyone makes mistakes. When we are afraid to admit our mistakes, we can be assured we are following the path of fear rather than love.
