throphy for the new ones, so competitors has to be after 2020, select a love poem that motivated you, to be here, and to write poems, as well. whovote? the 2024 members. and points you got 3 points to distribute.

A trophy for new members, i want to give one, well no me, you will decide it!!!!!

first competitors has to be for  from 2020 up to the end of 2023 (31),  this group can select a LOVE POEM , that they think was the best between 2010 to 2020, just a love poem... yo can select two poems, now the judges have 3 points to distribute, on the selected poems. calculations done lie, so is fair,

judges are going to be only members from this year 2024.they will have 3 POINTS to distribute, or spair,. so they have three points to give a point to each poem, or 3 point to one single poem.  who ever picked that poem win. i guess after the calculations,

competitions will end next wenesday, at 12:00am

I  just want to motivate old writers to get back on to writing, and new ones to beat our ass.

you are a poet, you are different, you are amazing, lets do it.

A TRUE REASON TO LOVE

A TRUE REASON TO LOVE
You, my air, my blood, my heart
My everything, my best friend, and
The best woman I ever had.

The cuffing of my secret, the mother of
My son, the word of a love song,

A true reason to love,
My inspiration to write this poem.
The reason for a throng,
To see, who im writing of.
What else could i ask from mi amour.

Again you, the reason to make
Me miss a super bowl, with a ticket
Right in the front, I called my self a
Treasure hunt, I found you without a map,
The best time in my life, you made some body call me dad, and I was no even home, it was over the phone. What else could I ask from mi amour.

You, the reason that would make me go to war,
And be right in the front, with a picture of
Our home, my reason to stay a life, and another just to die, if I receive a lettler that you are gone. What else could I ask from mi amour.

You, my wallet, my perfume, my watch, my shoes, my clothes, my glasses, my all, but the best thing I ever have, my wife, my woman ,What else could I ask from mi amour.

I Know You Hate Flowers

The ocean is rising

And I think I see you in the distance

But I can’t quite tell

I am swimming towards you
And the currents pull me back

Is it even you?
Are you on the sand waiting for me?

Mother's Hushed Eyes

Passages of my childhood arise within my mother’s death gaze,
bringing reminiscences of olden days.

When in sadness in childhood we would speak in silent gaze.
No mother left to envision me now, now within those quiet eyes.

Mother, you have gone away;
oh, dear mother let the memories rest beneath your eyelids.

But never close your eyes!
The imageries still dance in them as if you’re still alive!

 While vibrancy in your quiet eyes remains, I'll save
this voiceless reflection I saw from a mother's hushed eyes.

Mere images from when I was a child,
and often when I'll be sorrow-hearted, these reflections will then give me joy;

so, while life does remain in cycle, the memories she has protected;
those reflections I saw from a mother's hushed eyes.

Oh, I remember the life of my mother's glossy eyes,
my reception of joy to her when I returned home,

always gently did her eyelids come to a rest
as she used to sit and wait for me to speak,

but now are not closed, and silent;
though they have left me for the cold of death,

but while mute voices do persist, in those images I'll remember
this vivid reflection I saw from a mother's hushed eyes.
