This was such a sad time in history for black people; one white people have kept buried under the porch. I only recently found out about this a few weeks ago and posted some pages back. But the actual discovery of the manuscript detailing it is incredible.
A Long-Lost Manuscript Contains a Searing Eyewitness Account of the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921
An Oklahoma lawyer details the attack by hundreds of whites on the thriving black neighborhood where hundreds died 95 years ago

The manuscript, "The Tulsa Race Riot and Three of Its Victims," by B.C. Franklin was recovered from a storage area in 2015 and donated to the African American History Museum. (NMAAHC, Gift from Tulsa Friends and John W. and Karen R. Franklin)
The ten-page manuscript is typewritten, on yellowed legal paper, and folded in thirds. But the words, an eyewitness account of the May 31, 1921, racial massacre that destroyed what was known as Tulsa, Oklahoma’s “Black Wall Street,” are searing.
“I could see planes circling in mid-air. They grew in number and hummed, darted and dipped low. I could hear something like hail falling upon the top of my office building. Down East Archer, I saw the old Mid-Way hotel on fire, burning from its top, and then another and another and another building began to burn from their top,” wrote Buck Colbert Franklin (1879-1960).

Are you ashamed of transracial people?
Would you be ashamed to celebrate your ancient black heritage by saying “I am black?”

Maybe I’m missing something, Edible, but do you actually have African (American) lineage?
Eerie, it was actually a baited question.
For example, if I asked you in public Do you hate Transgenders? it then lends to the impression that somewhere in the 40+ pages of this thread, you voiced an opinion indicating perhaps you do and now you are being put in a position of having to clarify ( but only if you are overly concerned with your self image ).
The more responses one gets, the more one can keep a vein of conversation alive.

It is a valid question. You are right in that a interruption caused by civilian interference might have led to a removal of the knee. Even temporarily may have given Floyd more time.
I guess it all depends on what their past experiences with police or violence were and how much their lives were in jeopardy by the three officers with guns shielding Chauvin.

I envision it being a lot like the attack on Pearl Harbor, except ... more hate filled. And no means of fighting back against the arial assault.

John W. Franklin, a senior program manager with the museum, is the grandson of manuscript’s author and remembers the first time he read the found document.
“I wept. I just wept. It’s so beautifully written and so powerful, and he just takes you there,” Franklin marvels. “You wonder what happened to the other people. What was the emotional impact of having your community destroyed and having to flee for your lives?”

The FBI and Department of Justice will investigate the hanging deaths of two black men in California
https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/15/us/palmdale-hanging-investigation/index.html
All it takes is sending a(n instant ) message to millions of people ( through social media ) stating that protesting the death of blacks and demanding police reforms can be harmful to your health.
The retaliation has begun.

Technically, it's also "shaming", a psychological tactic ( whether recognized as intentional or not ) used to shame a dissenting opinion into compliance with one's own. It's been attempted frequently in this thread toward many participants.
A good example outside of this thread would be the shaming of those against the lockdowns by showing memes of "Opening Cheesecake Factory" vs. "Grandma". Of course you love your grandmother and want to see no harm come to her, but that doesn't mean you had to agree with the lockdown measures! *
*Clarity - I fully supported the lockdowns; however, didn't support "shaming" those who didn't. Saying, This isn't about you is totally different from saying Choose between opening the Cheesecake Factory or your grandmother's life.
Thus, as you surmised, it all comes down to how concerned you are with your public image.
I am a White woman and ally of #Blacklivesmatter who is sick of being shadowed ( even into other threads and on my own poetry ), badgered, and shamed into saying "I'm Black" because the shamer infers I am ( ironically ) "ashamed of my black heritage" if I refuse to say it.
Fuck. That.

Exactly.
It's one thing to ask for another's oponion out of genuine curiosity or wanting to understand his or her point of view on a subject.
It's entirely another to coerce responses.

So you can’t actually trace any lineage and are therefore a white woman claiming something you aren’t because god forbid you would be left out of that conversation. Gotcha 👍🏼
Actually I am a movement, God willing. I know I’m catching heat because I’m taking a stand to end the racial divide.
It’s over. No more white and black divide.
We are all black.
My husband as a Jew is worried about another racial purge. I’m trying to stop it.

When will you answer my legit questions? Because YOU are the one on the run/looking to confront.
Am I being mean to you?

This vein is my attempt to save MILLIONS of lives!!!

You are a feeling person. I’ve possibly been too warlike in my campaign.
This IS an agenda!
Genocide prevention!

I just want to foil the devil!

I decided to self-emmolate. Girl on fire. 🔥

Use your liberty.
I’m desperate. But not so much that I can’t appreciate a real gripe.
Fuck. That.
This seems like the place to say I have been wanting to apologize, especially for that poetry comment you mentioned.
Boundaries. Are. Good.
