In conclusion, the old distinction between the crimes of National Socialism (as purely racist) and socialism proper (as lacking a racial component) seems to be untenable. Both the perpetrators of Nazi atrocities (ie, the Germans) and their victims, including the Jews and the Slavs, were white. As such, Nazi atrocities make little sense on the narrow definition of racism (i.e., black versus white). They do make sense in the broader context—the perceived necessity to exterminate all peoples who stood in the way of achieving Hitler’s utopian ideal.
But the same can be said of communist atrocities. The early socialists certainly toyed with the idea of racial inferiority of the darker races (i.e., narrow definition of racism), but ultimately embraced a program of genocide that was more encompassing. The best that can be said of the socialists, therefore, is that their victims were, in accordance with the universal aspirations of Marxism, more varied than those of Hitler. Let us hope that’s not the sort of inclusivity that Black Lives Matter on both sides of the Atlantic strives for.

Here we go . . .
Georgia officials call for investigations into primary day voting issues
Georgia's secretary of state and state House speaker on Tuesday called for investigations into voting delays in Atlanta and across Georgia on the day of the state's primary.
The announcement of the investigations came after a rocky start for the state's primary on Tuesday morning as voters, primarily in the populous Atlanta area, were met with long lines and delays.
"The voting situation today in certain precincts in Fulton and DeKalb counties is unacceptable," Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, said. "My office has opened an investigation to determine what these counties need to do to resolve these issues before November's election." The city of Atlanta is encompassed in the two counties.
Separately, Speaker David Ralston has directed the House Governmental Affairs Committee to investigate irregularities in Tuesday's primary election across Georgia, particularly in Fulton County, where a majority of issues have been reported.
"The sanctity of our elections -- being free and fair -- is the very foundation of our system of government. Our elections must be efficient and voters must be confident that their votes will be properly counted," Ralston, a Republican, said in a statement on Tuesday. "The legislative branch of government has an obligation to go beyond the mutual finger-pointing and get to the truth and the real reasons underlying these frustrations and concerns."

We Need Gay, Liberal Heroes NOW!
S.O.S. to our
fine rainbows
Some of our most
heroic martyrs
and celebrated
champions
are being shoved
aside as their
communities
are broken
burned, looted
But I’ve never
seen a reason
to disbelieve
their power
to get to
the bottom
of these things...

Get ready for a tough election. . .
Polls closed in Georgia after a day marked by voters waiting for hours to cast their ballots
Polls are finally closed in Georgia after voting delays across the state led officials there to call for investigations into why voters spent hours standing in lines on a hot June day.
Voting was extended at some precincts in eight counties around the Peach State. Voting was extended to 9:30 p.m. in DeKalb County, more than two-and-a-half hours after polls were supposed to close, and at least one precinct stayed open until 10:10 p.m. Voters reported standing in the hot summer sun for upward of four hours attempting to cast their ballots.
The delays led Georgia's secretary of state and state House speaker on Tuesday called for investigations into voting delays in Atlanta and across Georgia on the day of the state's primary. The announcement of the investigations came after a rocky start for the state's primary on Tuesday morning as voters, primarily in the populous Atlanta area, were met with long lines and delays. . .

Yipe!
Poets Criticize Poetry Foundation’s Statement on Black Lives Matter
In an open letter, more than 1,800 people criticized the foundation’s remarks and called on it to dedicate more proceeds from its $250 million endowment to antiracism efforts.
Almost immediately, the statement drew criticism and ridicule on social media. In the letter, the poets called it “worse than the bare minimum” and an insult to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other African-Americans whose deaths in encounters with police prompted the protests.

I must disagree with whoever you quoted there , Edible ;
Whoever it was , has never lived where I have , in California ,
which is north of San Francisco , or south of...
Santa Cruz , Bay Area , and Mendocino...( and Venice / Santa Monica )
I have never encountered prejudice in these areas , for
gay , lesbian , or trans people , or if I did , though I am
straight in my personal choice they would be defended
by myself , and many I know...
But , as far as I know...never happened in my communities...
They are more than welcome , and accepted...
"that homosexuals are not given freedom and liberty by anyone in the society."
"They might be the most oppressed people in the society."

what does it mean?
I have very good friends in Turkey
And I speak Turk
It's much like it is in any country as far as political support goes
They are not too pleased with their leader at the moment.
They have absolutely nothing left for Trump if they ever did
We are allies with Israel and Turkey yet Trump. Supplied the Kurds with weapons and trying on the Syrian border this put a strain on Turkey,Russia and Israel not to mention affected the Syrian Civil conflict
The Kurds withing the borders of Turkey began attacking Turkey to gain political ground
After Trump stirs up shit in the region he backs out withdraws all support threatens Turkey with sanctions
Turkey is not innocent in the Kurdish conflict their leader has a dream to bring back the Ottoman Empire at all cost
Wonderful people beautiful culture 85% Sunni Muslim
Friendship is why I always support Turkey
My Instagram account always has a #SupportTurkey hashtag on all my posts

What's wrong son
why did Mum say
I can't play
with my best friends
anymore
because son
she's your mother
she knows better
but dad
I'm nearly ten
I'm not a baby
why can't I play
with my best friends
anymore
because my son
they are different from us
they are coloured
and they smell
but so are we dad
no we're not son
we are white
but mummy said
when I was a baby
I was pink
and grandad
looks grey
and he smells funny
and when you were ill
you looked yellow
and you smell
so dad
who's the coloured ones
Wack
do what I say
I'm your father

Governments
You could have chosen
Any Part
within us
yet You chose
to introduce
Pain Fear and Despair
You chose to bring
Conflict and Violence
you chose
Political Corruption
and Arrogance
to Use as Your Voice
as in the dark ages of old
You Chose
the mechanisms
of destruction
for the minds of our Young
yet
You still refuse
to grasp the concept
We are one
The balance
shall return
and you people will learn
that no matter what you do
poison the land
the air
the water that we drink
We
are going home
Back
to our garden
before
we became
what you crave
Obedient
Psychological

Grass roots
stopped growing
a long time ago
when people
stopped thinking
when people
got tired
Of manning the gates
of a real Democracy
Believing
in sad excuses
of broken promises
full of forked tongue
intent
No longer willing
to make the sacrifices
to man the gates
Believing the odd
one man band
can make a change
To stop
all the things
that should not be
Grass roots
stopped growing
a long time ago
when people
stopped thinking
what should not be so
Conveniently
only sacrificing
what they refuse
to imagine
to get to know
the future
of their children
and the slow painfull
not yet
fully felt
Death
of freedom
