Freedom of Speech and Censorship
Section 230 of the communications act passed in the '90s allowed internet information publishers to not be held liable for infringement of free speech and protection from lawsuits involving slander...This is why Newspapers had to pay out undisclosed millions to the Covington kids for their lies while Twitter and Facebook paid nothing for the same crime....This proves my point that internet sites like YouTube and Twitter can slander, lie and suppress content at will...All these companies reside within 500 miles of it each other in Commiefornia and thus are on U.S. soil and should not be allowed to book burn and suppress conservative and classic liberal content as the have for years... Legislation to revoke section 230 is currently being written. Only authoritarians that love to cowardly censor speech would wish this crime against free speech to continue....

What it proves is that Trump didn't give a damn about anything until his *uncensored tweets* were highlighted for what they are - misleading. And this is his best retaliation he can muster at the moment because he can't fire people over this.

But why would know anything he has said or done...I did not mention Trump at all... while democrats authoritarians have not talked about anything but President Trump ever since vagina Clinton lost...Why don't you address the issue at hand and stop trying sideline the argument with Trump derangement syndrome rhetoric

most of my 65 years , and do not agree with any
political party , especially those who live in the state ,
yet call it by that name...just sayin' , Runaway...
You know we disagree on some things , but you do
not always *have* to attack those who live in the
same state you do , if they think differently...

including Google , brought great wealth to California...
And , most of us in California , despise right leaning

Yeah, I don't agree with a lot of things Google and YouTube do, but I still use them knowing policies change with the revolving door of people.
And I've never understood the need to blanket stereotype Democrats or Republicans as Nazis, authoritarians, vaginas, whatever.
Like I said somewhere, can't remember, I'd gladly replace Donald Trump with Mitt Romney. Some people should just not be allowed within 50 yards of any government office. Or orifice.

When you absolutely need to villify something without any evidence to support your claims, you slap the label "Big" on it.
So I guess Trump wants Twitter all to himself. Where are all the dystopian criers now? It is a dangerous abomination for a President of this country to talk of suppressing lawful free speech. Twitter didn't take down his false statement; all they did was add a fact-check label to his false tweet. They are still letting him falsely accuse Joe Scarborough of murder, as well as the integrity of mail-in voting.
Twitter is a private company; they have rules ( just like this website ); they have a right to enforce rules upon their participants ( just like this website ). I agree with leaving the tweets up and allowing the public to decide for themselves. I wish Youtube would follow suit.
