I've yet to do what I really wish
I've come home smelling like a fish
Scraping off windows covered with grime
Hardly makes my Summertime sublime
I don't live to work I work to live
More at night when girls are amative

Been patiently waiting for a raise
You can't cool my heels with more delays
I've felt the pain of the stockroom blues
Quit jobs with nothing left to lose
Always hoping to find something more
I'm no further than I was before

Maybe if you'd paid me what I'm worth
I'd have busted my ass for you
Observe from the peon's point of view
Incentives produce much less dearth
Or can't you see down around your girth
To see all of the people that you screw

I won't take another job from you
Unless you offered me a blow job
You'd probably do it too you slob
And you'd have to double up my pay
Yo bitch, you won't ever hear me say
"HOW MAY I KISS YOUR ASS TODAY?"

I will no longer be your pawn
A bossed around low-life peon
So I'll offer the songs I've written
So far performed only by my pen
Add to the words the pulse of my soul
Let them go wherever they may roll  

At least then I can smile at the crooks
As I sleep with the publishers of poetry books
Who steal the words of creative artistry
With dull pages of contractual thievery
To accept the most thankless job of all
A poet never reads the writing on the wall

My first job was shit i am not gona lie
We put on a bright yellow rubber duck
Rain suit  duck tape your cuffs
And where your ankles go into your
Boots crawl up in side a p&h 2800 xpb electric
Shovel into what is called the revolving frame
It is completely full of greas called sorett
Grab a bucket and a scraper and start cleaning
Oh ya i forgot to mention this is not an open
Air job all confined space like crawling under your
Coffee table  its dark dirty and stinky what a shitty job
Welders treated us like dirt doing the worst job on
The site for shit money i was geting $12 an hour
My first check was $700 and i wasted every penny of it
I was 18 and dident care was just happy to have a job money
And plenty of hangovers the only plus side was that
U always had a bucket to puck in

Up before the rooster crows
Home well after dusk
I worked my fingers to the bone
Yet others reaped what I had sown
Who am I to blame?

Smarter didn't pay the rent
Smartest won the prize
Quicker, faster stronger, didn't win the race
He who was the best always set the pace

So how's a boy with none of that, supposed to get ahead?
Trip the rabbit from the gate, steal his foot for luck
Place the turtle on it's back,  spin him dumb and dizzy
Then take the bull by his horn, and blow him for a raise

Thankless for my blustering, fired; ass sent pack'n

Perhaps the worst job
It leaves a strange taste in the mouth
And unreciprocated
What the fuck
Some appreciation
For the dedication
Or next time it's masturbation
I'm just saying thanks would be nice
Blow jobs suck
That's what I've heard

writing with mad ambivalence  


Mostly “one-shot-newbies” keying in with persistence


So hands down the Mod’s job is surely the most thankless
A thankless job where most wouldn’t go the distance
See, the thankless...they know this.... They call it as they see it


Closing a thread because of what’s said knowing we don’t need it


While pseudo-free speech advocates
Claiming, “those are the actions of the conceited”


So yeah, it’s a thankless job without tears to sob


Where many believe
They’s just
tweaking a knob

I was the photographer
that nobody wanted to see
My pictures cost a fortune
and my set up was less than comfy

Though I'd fine tune the settings
true to my reputation
for being a perfectionist

And get the angles so precise
with unsurpassed clarity
Adjust the light and depth
to catch the finest details
or anomalies  
and develop my film in darkness
until the contrast couldn't be beat

Then I'd hang each masterpiece up
for critique
and walk away
without an ounce of gratitude
or praise
but I guess
that's what anyone would expect
nobody really wants to see an x-ray tech

Ok.  Firstly, I wanna thank the Academy, mom, dad for their sobering moments and their tireless efforts and great production, I hafta thank Ralf, knowing his struggle is the same as mine and it's stoopid.
