When inside, through walls, the  neighbor's wont let up.

When outside the highway screams for me to dive in front.

Yet in my head I can already hear the gun.

That ambivert girl is still scratching her signature on a fiver like more tips will come the longer miserable country songs play. An eight ball barks and Texas sounds stereotypical.

Silence for hours, maddening loneliness.
No heartbeat, in his chest a broken mess.
Hearing himself breathe each breath... try smoking less.
Noises in the night, motionless, he hopes the best.

Portobello Promenade Edinburgh

Waves on the shore,
Gulls in the sky,
But nearby. the traffic thunders by.

Beach Party (an oldie)

The sound of waves
meets the glow of candles
which you lit.

I longed to capture it
with words, with
silent whispers,
with the only thing
I can.
But I can't.

(Excellent theme for a competition, Nikki)

the lulling steadiness
thrusting winds and
thundering trains
an abrupt crescendo
of lights and horns
cascaded across starch
placid walls
that aren't my own

Does it have to be a poem? Can it be prose?

In the evenings I'm carried away by an orchestra of chirps and croaks. A cacophony of sound attesting to the endless life of the night resonates within my dreams.

Dawn Magic
As the dawn is breaking
In a New Zealand forest
The treetops start to cheep,
A flock of tiny riflemen birds,
Feathers are dark green
Seeking breakfast.

Thank you. Quit making me blush O. It does nothing for my complexion.

Everyone speaks,
I don't hear their tones,
All I hear are sounds from my phone.
His voice was bursting in my ear
With his instrumentation having no fear
Of me.
