Mail Me To The Ocean

I'm writing this for no one as I hope no one will see
Who better understands the joy of anonymity
Never to be bothered, a solitude so grand
Feeling only coldness as I direct a dying hand
Silent as a forest screams a stranded tear of joy
Motionless I speed away from innocent young boy
Devour me then, father time; soak me in your wrap
For at your door I pay a toll I fear to ne'er get back
Skin once soft is crumbled veil, defining deeper wear
For inside-out now flows my doubt such as each decaying hair
Seldom days will pass in which I question each mistake
Is there still a sturdy slope I may slide down towards my escape
Or had my naive thinking all been a gift as I once feared
To become aware as I was blooming of the haunting yester-year
What consequence would I now face had I taken that early shot
I'd dreamed of such vivid joys that in this stalemate I've forgot
As the board was turned against me, I knew my strategy must change
Thoughts and dreams once purely streamed now forced to rearrange
Faces become blurry as emotion fades to black; a chemical invasion, my defense,
now fires back

"Mutiny, O Captain!" screams a system once immune, as an irony so vile
Sings its well known battle tune
I'd send a call for backup had I a wasted breath to spend-
Rather scribble out an S.O.S. with my handmade hollowed pen

Now mail me to the ocean, sealed so tight lest I break free
So I  may drown inside an envelope addressed to "My Fantasy"
Devour me dear liquid, so that my weightless body floats
Wash away chaotic dreams a weary mind now totes
And should the sun attempt to save me, distract her from my wish
For an empty world of nothingness defines my greatest bliss
