Life with an Alcoholic
I never really had a chance, but that was the chance I was willing to take.
To know when I started, hoping for first would be a mistake.
I could settle for second or third or fourth either way that was the race.
There was no chance I would ever win first place.
At first, It was different, the fine print did not appear.
It was signing the contract that it became pretty clear.
By then I was consumed by the illusion that one in a million could be me.
I wouldn't still be running the race if I knew I should be free.
Running down this path feels safe and...

Narcissistic
My narcissism game is too strong,
You debate me and try to prove me wrong
But this is my favorite song.
I cannot love you, my heart was made for me.
I find it only an obligation and wish you didnt care.
It never feels like love, just another burden to carry.
I love me, by myself and crave isolation.
It is easier because it feels natural.
I waited too long for love that cannot exist,
So I created it for me and me alone.
There is no room for you. Be someone elses burden or love yourself.
You debate me and try to prove me wrong
But this is my favorite song.
I cannot love you, my heart was made for me.

Lonely days.
Fearless dreams,
With noble ways.
Royal feasts with
Roasted swine,
Meaningless hours
And cheap wine.
Divine beauty
Deep in vain.
Harsh words,
Said in pain.
Rage with anger
Deep in heart.
Dangerous actions
Tear people apart.
Silence past peace
With deep conviction
Pain equals pleasure
With habitual addiction.

Angels plea
Anything I touch abrupts to flame
Accusations of
Hell's inquisitive mind is to blame
The reasoning is not to clear
No one yet
Can break through to what I hold dear
Try they will for they do
To make me weak
Unknownst to the power
In which they do seek
For inside I do hold
As much pain as I could take
And carry with me as well
All the tears man can make.
Demons wish to set me free
I need this pain to stay locked inside of me
For Lords of pain worship me

Empty vessel
My blood be thine
Take Ye and drink...
My mind be thine
Take Ye and think...
My tongue belongeth to thee
With it, Thou shall speak
Words with such great power
Til' I becometh weak.
For my body and mine alone
I offer as a vessel to thee
With a promise of greatness
And the will to use unsparingly.

Demons hunt
The demons are out tonight,
Hunting for my soul.
The compromise seems fair,
But I will not relinquish control.
I know the very games they play,
The heartache upon which they feed.
For I've given plenty,
And still more they need.
It's a vicious circle
Of promise and pain.
Unending sorrows left inside
With nothing to gain.
It's an excruciating time
Hopeless dreams and empty lies.
Understand this if nothing else
Demons breathe your cries
For once I died
I was taught to live.
Instead I became numb
So I'd have nothing...
Hunting for my soul.
The compromise seems fair,
But I will not relinquish control.
I know the very games they play,
The heartache upon which they feed.
For I've given plenty,

I am but a soul
Im no angel
Fear created me
Im no healer
Time debated me
Im no sorcerer
Love elated me.
Im no human
Fate underrated me
I am but a soul
A spirit meant to fly
Trapped in flesh
A captive body
Meant to die
I am but a soul
Made of star dust
Trapped with the souless
Zombies of lust.

Solace in the midst of suffering
Souls of darkness, here am I
For strength and wisdom passed me by
Seems his son failed to hear
My fatal cries from unborn fear
My body decays onto ancient ground
In my subtle mind freedom is found
Though the pain will linger an eternity
I find myself embracing this captivity
Yet as Im dying from the burdening

My eyes lead to the devil's soul
For I destroy all I see
My heart is the devil's gravity
For it can hold all under captivity
I must be surrounded by flames
For no one is around

Last Days
It's a time of vast morbid ways
Satan counts the last of the days
We're just souls in a twisted game
Though we hurt, we're to blame
Show us no mercy, we're already here
We keep creating what we fear
Flames take over this world we found
We became the demons from underground
Everything good we swallow whole
Killing anything that could take control
We've felt so much pain but never cried
Our unborns created by lust and pride
Blood, sweat, and tears in the masterpiece we create
Oblivious that we're building Hells own gate
Escaping amongst...

I have not what I wish to own
For what I wish, wishes to roam
In my head she doth dwell- an entity
Her powers be great and yet
Unobtainable to me
How can she reside in me
But we be two not one
Be as the moon is to the sun
How I wish to be at peace with harmony
But we be the scales of life
Dividing all land from sea,
All evil from pure,
Darkness from light,
Sickness from cure,
And blindness from sight
In the enchantment she doth stay
While curst amongst living dead I fray
Wishing for all the blind to see
Secretly...
