2K17- the war rages- resembling the dark ages
nations already been raped of wealth n’ riches
regardless, still leaving a track of bloody pages
-in the book- guess who is the crook- look
the occupation still keep kids in cages
same kids getting used to the sound of 12 gauges
caught the killer on videotape- just to see him escape
as said, nations already been raped of wealth n’ riches
so suspicious, murdering an entire people is not ambitious
what’s the point of building bridges, facing something so vicious

Suppressed Rage
10 seconds of rage- then spend 10 years locked in a cage
reduced to a file on a page- consequences of suppressed rage
misunderstood- like a crook- wonder why he picked up a gauge
read him like a book- must be illiterate, never saw his outrage
don’t know how it is to raise a family on minimum wage
circumstances- robbed him of his chances- his coming of age
explain it with lack of finances- or absence of balance- in life
it caused the malice and strife- so sadness inhabits his habitus

Real is rare
Real is rare, like life is rarely fair
truth is the first victim in war- ces’t la guerre
and sometimes life resembles pure warfare
yet don’t try to compare- your dream to that nightmare
where, veterans die due to lack of health care
while presidents lie, pretending to care
kids are constantly killed, but no one offers a prayer
guess it wasn’t Paris, so just let them perish
preoccupied with people’s praise, not sincere
real recognize real, so I see the pain you wear
and I swear- if I could- I’d relieve you from despair

Blind Eye
So while the innocent children are bleeding- to death
the ignorant world is sleeping- hear the last breath
soldiers are murdering in cold blood- high on meth
but your fall is eminent- like the fall of Macbeth
you murdered his son and then planted a knife
murdered his innocent daughter & beautiful wife
guess color and creed determine the value of life
surprised- the future generations traumatized
truth is self-evident, it ain’t no longer disguised
how can they be bullies, when you got the bullets
watched too many movies, reality is...

Chasing Peace
See it in their faces-all the trials & tribulations
lack of patience- traveled through so many nations
wonder what you really chasin’- all these places
met by snakes who put on airs & graces
good gracious- strangers with familiar faces
like a magician- turn words into wisdom
listen- and learn, betrayed by the system
repetition- of lies- purposefully portrayed a victim
the paradox of being free, while mentally in prison
would you save the drowning kid, or ask for permission
in this current context, it really ain’t that complex
as...

Different definitions
Remember, you can love and you can hate
but our fate- we won’t ever let you shape
the paradox of free men walking in a slave state
stand strong & steady- even when lives they take
apparently they haven’t realized what’s at stake
one day they will- but it’ll be too late- that’s fate
we got different definitions of what is great
but truth is truth and that you cannot escape
haters will tell you what you can & can’t make
but they’re failures who saw their dreams break
& now they’re dying to see you make a mistake
no lying- a liar is...
but our fate- we won’t ever let you shape
the paradox of free men walking in a slave state

Family
In all honesty, my life has been a gift to me
so guess it’s time to finally thank my family
despite- we fight- & disagree, we still family
love you all, even those I never got to see
& those who left will never leave my memory
wonder- without each other- where would we be
been blessed B, respect the ones who speak sincerely
yet I act so crazily, cuz crazy is what I tend to be
forgive me- sometimes I’m my own worst enemy
my love run through city, continents and camps
what a pity- a place with no such thing as food stamps
a place...

Ride Alone
Little kid wonders if he is destined to ride alone
he is far from his family, his friends and his home
on his own- alone- left to roam in his own ‘dome’
didn’t realize what he really lost was his soul
live life lavishly in a constructed comfort zone
like a king in a kingdom, but where is the throne
he feels the pain of life in his bone, stone cold
or at least he wish he was cold like a stone, he told
unfortunate, cuz crooks come from a broken household
yet his knowledge of life was worth more than gold
remember to play your cards right, but never fold...

Last Words
Beware- because haven’t we all been in that place
where- you felt like forced to fall from grace
dreams might change, but never stop the chase
some stumble through the haze, while others race
in search for truth, trust which we try to trace
we’ll cross ways, regardless of your speed & pace
what a waste, truth you cannot reform or replace
so many heroes forgotten & silenced by the graves
love & loyalty lasts, even when far from home base
no ‘poetic justice’, so like Pac pray for ‘better dayz’
you relate, the same struggle, just a...

Run & Hide
You can run & hide, but be sure your time will arrive
regardless from where you derive, we all try to survive
& stay alive- if you don’t want treason, then don’t rely
in a world where the concept of reason is truly a lie
why else do reasonable people choose to close their eye
so sympathetic, yet you can’t hear the innocent cry
so pathetic, because injustice and crime you justify
so it’s for you to decide- by whose rules to abide
we don’t walk in front or behind- we walk side by side
wrong or right- loyalty means you are down to ride
there...

Sometimes
Focus on your Self, so heart & soul you can enhance
put hate on the shelf, cuz with it you won’t advance
and at the end of the day, don’t depend on no man’s-
promise- to be honest- take it in your own hands
cuz greatness is not measured by the amount of fans
remember nothing is like you thought at first glance
and dancing in the rain doesn’t make it a rain dance
arrogance- leads astray, enter as kings & leave as lambs-
to the slaughter- ignorant & proud, cutting up grams
loss of honor- like ‘if ifs and ands were pots and pans’
don’t...

Let me present this story from the streets of life
torment & glory, souls searching for peace from strife
wonder what’s worse than brothers turning the knife
you’ll be judged by the way you treat your mother & wife
character above colors, yet some worship the green dollars
and then greed follows, what we need is warriors & scholars
we need mothers before models & fathers before ballers
fear the fire & be righteouss- and that goes for all of us
teach tactic and reason- practice what you’re preachin’
