I wanted to share this video from the 2014 National Poetry Slam taken by Button Poetry. If you haven't checked out Button Poetry before, please do. I want as many people to see and share as possible. Thank you for the support!

If you live on the West Coast, next year's competition will be held in Aug 2015 in Oakland California. You should check it out either to compete or just to have watch and have fun! It seriously is one of the funnest events a poet/poetry lover could ever attend!

I'm in the East ... I remember telling myself to check it out when it was in Boston but somehow didn't make it ... I'll definitely get to at least one.

Oh if you live on the East Coast you are super lucky, there are a lot of popular competitions in the east, but I hope you do get to check out Nationals sometime! I just read some of your haiku poems (hope thats not weird lol, saw your name and wanted to see what you like to write about), but I enjoyed your work! If you go to Nats, definitely enter the Haiku Death Match, I think you'd enjoy it!

I just read some of your haiku poems (hope thats not weird lol, saw your name and wanted to see what you like to write about), but I enjoyed your work! So glad you enjoyed! Poetry Slam Inc host a National Poetry Slam, an Individual World Poetry Slam, and a Women of the World Poetry Slam every year! I recommend check out all of them. They all have different flavors and experiences! It's my goal to make them all.

So glad you enjoyed! Poetry Slam Inc host a National Poetry Slam, an Individual World Poetry Slam, and a Women of the World Poetry Slam every year! I recommend check out all of them. They all have different flavors and experiences! It's my goal to make them all.
