"Boadicea"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB64c9Uxgz4

Looking back at the paths I've traveled
abandoned little one at the age of three
momma on the streets at fifteen

a junkie chasing my fix
the rotating doors of the psych ward
at times feeling so alone

though you were there Mother Earth
rejuvenating and rebirthing my soul
with your oceans deep cleansing me with each wave

the forests a sacred and safe place
for me to take shelter in
slumbering on the mossy bed you provided

your great mountains the breasts of the Earth
from which my being suckled
you fed and sheltered my broken spirit

giving it peace

Inspired by: Take Me To Church by Hozier

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MYSVMgRr6pw

Runaway

Please

Don't

Take me to church

I've run away from his House
Time and time again

Shaming my Father
My mother on her knees
As if what I've lost floats above her
She searches for it with her eyes closed

The beaten sun hangs over me
Seeping through the panes of our Father's house
Kaleidoscope of family portraits framed over the truth

He said spare the rod
Spoil the child
She says the Devil is gonna make me pay
But I don't merit the attention

He dangles from my neck
The chain's not strong enough
Otherwise I'd hang myself

(song: Looking at the Moon - Tony Carey)

         this is for you

this is for you, because you’re there
looking at the moon and seeing
love songs written upon it.

you’re trying to find the one that has
your name in the title, and it doesn’t
matter that there are a million other
lonely people with the same name,

because someone wrote that song for you,
only you, and you know who that someone is,
or else you don’t, but you will someday.

this is for you, because you’re there
and i’m not.
sleep warmly and dream poems
and know that you are loved.

"Destination is not far away"

[translated title of song,
from  "Pogum Padhai Dhooram Illai (tamil film number)] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtFE1eLcNUU&feature=youtube_gdata_player

youthful airs in self-prison
         breaks out much late

noisy ramblings, the many new rush
of drowsy sensations
of its now let loose hungry boundaries
the vagabond winds
as they turn themselves into
eventually gather
         after steepy leeward downsizings
         its suffocating pitfalls
         amongst degrading valleys
         and attitudinal mountains
as a point of consolidation

realize it all the hardway
heads rightaway
along its unidirectional pathway
of whatever undulating terrains
with deep-trenches
of pains and darkness
though stepping successive
over light plains and peaking mounds
of silence and consciousness
until unto
the unreturing destination
of its own calling

its soul containment

Turn off your mind

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu2OuayNm5w

I turn the page next to me I realize how much this used to mean. I see the words close your eyes. I do so and it awakens a whole new place I can be free. I turn my mind off waiting for it hoping, crossing, even god saying. Maybe we both could be you and me both hoping for this to be are new reality. So turn off that mind and keep your eyes close an maybe you get a new look on what life, hope, reality, love, cope, you just maybe get that look. The look I did.

the days I fell into your eyes

[Translated title from tamil film number," Un Vizhigazhil"

once i said someone
a fool that believes
is better
than anything in doubts

and then
it was myself
swimming inside your sunshine eyes
from that sped light-fraction you shed
that still
was
incomprehensible
might be
one in a zillionth probability of turned events

then
your desperate eyes grazed
allover the purampokku minds
got fixed at my stunned ones
what you felt in them i knew
the curious chaotic muddusts
bonded
awaited fallow hearts
raring to be shaped
in unfashioned
and forgotten
virtues

plotting realestate species
overlooked
our moulded mud-home
ironed suns smiling within
our
infractionable
particulates

"Fuck It"

Creeping behind my back
with a whore across town
thought I wouldn't smell
the perfume on your shirt?

the truth is in my tears
I loved you but I won't
take you back under my wings
i'll leave you to bake
in your lies and shame

thought I wouldn't catch on
I'm not the fool you expected
I hold all the cards and you're busted

Led Zeppelin - The Lemon Song
Squeeze My Lemons Till The Juice Runs Down My Leg

I'm heading home   I have a date
Chills play my spine   I pass my gate
Time to eat   hope I'm not late

I rush myself   up spiral stairs
I'm hurrying cause   I like mine rare

It's dinner time   I'm feeling fine
I lick my chops   and grab my wine

I sing and dance across the room
To one of Zeppelins slinky tunes

(squeeze my lemons till the juice runs down my leg, squeeze it so hard till I fall right out of bed)

Alas with ringing of the bell
Wafts cross the room    OH delightful smell

I sit to eat    Has it gone too far
You know I like my meat Tartar

I squeeze some lemon on his leg
And lick my lips as i am fed

I slurp His blood so delightfully red
My secrets out    I love the dead

Daintily   I wipe my chin
Daintily   And then I grin

Calabrese - "Lords of the Wasteland"

"Badlands"

I got eyes in the grunge, soot-flecked
grimace on a hardline stare at the horizon.
Bet your ass these shadows don't quiver in no
gloaming. That dust you stormin' up, every crumb mine.
Now I gotta go and do somethin' 'bout it.
We make war here, boy, got men in the sands that
wasn't no snake or dust devil's doin'. Call 'em
lords of the wasteland. Got guns'll put you out
there with 'em. Got this here nailbeater.
You ever watch a man die in the sun?
