Charade You Are
I feel the shadow of fear creeping down the dark hall
slipping noticed into the room - my eyes squinched tight
But i know that shadow even with my eyes closed don't I
It's bad intentions made known with the smell of beer
in my nostrils.
oh god oh god oh god
holding still under covers
praying to a god that's nowhere around
don get me don get me
my fear sucks all sound from the room
but not for long. ...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

IRONIC
On a lazy summer afternoon - in the year of 79
while trying to drown my sorrows - smokin dube and drinking wine
In the room burst my drunk father - and not much to my surprize, We got in a fight and I ended up - being pulled by the neck outside
And I found it quite Ironic - as he was choking off my air,
that it was then that I noticed just how sweet - was the smell of the Oregon air
so I took the time to ponder - while being drug down the front porch stairs
of how the sky looked so much...

I had a dream I walked the earth
barefoot I stepped on broken glass
above my head the sky was black
the dark clouds rained down sheets of blood red paper,
a propagandic message announcing a warning to the good citizens of this country

mother to me
Mother to me is only a name
someone who allows the dirty game
Silence is golden-a mothers rule
Then mother sends you off to school
A mother has eyes in the back of her head
So when facing her child- cannot see she is dead
At night time a mother plants kisses on chin
then sends you to the lions den
Mother to me- is only a word
her man is but a dirty bird
A mother goes shopping and shopping and shopping
while dirty birds hopping and hopping and hopping

she sees only her man

close my eyes
Something evil with me walks
I hear him whisper deep within
Do not be afraid of this
'thy dying day'
For you the end of pain I'll rend
Death is in my face
Wrapping his warm embrace
Around my body soul and mind
He is telling me
To be truly free
Death is the only way I'll find
Can someone help me please?
Is anybody there?
Cause i feel so all alone
Death is calling me
And he knows my name
Saying he will take me home
Something evil with me talks
I am soothed by sweet dark...

Walk Away
I lift my head
look the world in the eye
I've been given a load a shit
Lord--and I don't know why
Born to a world of pain
you gave more than your share
You took what I would never give
But then who said life was fair
The heavens cry for me
I have fallen from grace
I made dying my reason to live
now- I spit in YOUR face
You take without giving
Don't you know nothing is for free
You will pay with your soul
while I walk away free

Rear view mirror
Yay. Time for the family camping trip
In rear view mirror-SHE can't see
ME looking at HER -HIM looking at ME.
HER eyes keep fixed on roads ahead- I fornicating in HER stead
MY eyes did beg and plead in mirror
MY stomach sick on bottled fear
I see HER glance-and with it find
MY MOTHERS eyes on ME are blind.
In this way OUR family trips were spent
HER silent eyes adrift
on forests, desert skies, blue seas
On every scenery but ME
HER selective blindness does not come free
And for it I pay heavily
MY loss of innocence and...

8 eyes die
Tiptoes, softly, gently steering
he towards me, and me I'm fearing
thief of childhood ever nearing
INNOCENCE OF 8 EYES DIE
I close my eyes and pray for morning
Futile hope is heavenly soaring
Take flight my prayer to God most high-STILL
INNOCENCE OF 8 EYES DIE
A fathers duty is - he whispers
A promise to love all 4 sisters
This one promise he has kept - all other spoken words inept
HYPOCRISY shines in his eyes
HIS gift of love in 8 EYES DIE
His gift of love thru life I carry
trust in man...

ha Ha Charade You Are
I see dead things every day
walking around with the mask of happiness
faking the act of living
ha ha charade you are
I see the empty eyes
mindlessly wandering through life
black pits instead of pupils
seeing only the fog of the damned
I see creatures with dark minds
completely void of the life giving light
shuffling along their well worn paths
mindless of where they go
putting one foot forward at a time
thinking they are walking the walk of the living
I see the dead reflections in...

Spring Is Here At last At Last
spring is here
at last at last
wind blowing clouds
like gossamer glass
smells fill the air
the flowers are calling
bees making honey
with love and pollen
watching dandilions
is a glorious affair
while slinging their fluff
all thru the air
It seems I'm not
the only one
to jump with joy
here comes the sun
I hop and skip
accross a lawn
I twirl around
till I have fallen
I dance a happy
springtime dance
lay on the grass
where...

A father takes, eyes closed, that which he has no right
A child cries, traumatized, a closet hides her pain
The child dies, awakes to find- a woman in her place
her damaged mind- cannot abide- the change her body makes
The woman stands- naked and alone- facing mirrored images
backs away- cuts today- appraising all her damages
rearrange- her bodies change- sculpt it down to size
to take away- the ugly place- I cut it with a knife
