Why Poetry?
Poetry is literature's original format, having been with mankind since the beginning.
Poetry was the first story telling form shared around family and tribal fires to both entertain and teach.
Poetry has evolved over millennia yet remains essentially the same today.
By design poetry entices and draws in the reader or hearer, that they might identify with the moral and ethical dilemmas faced by each of us, through our common experiences.
