Hello to all of the members of the Deep Underground Harder Side of Poetry.  I hate to admit it, but I have recently been experimenting with writing poems, so I am definitely not ready to call myself a poet.  I have always loved reading (anything and everything), but have a love for real issues and things that many people prefer to ignore.  I have always loved writing and feel confident about doing so on a variety of topics.  I just want to write about everything of interest to me and have never enjoyed being told what to write about, so I am hoping to expand my horizons on this site and would appreciate any feedback whether it is positive or negative.  Thanks to all and I look forward to being a member of this group.
