Every last one has murder in their heart
especially the ones who carry the guns
and have no regard for poetic art
when caps can pop by imperial tons
in the strife world of Heraclitus
where the Itchy and Scratchy fight, fight, fight,
first pitching the weakest under the bus
by one party rule; no oversight;
or any balance to check on the checks
that MAGA will write for deportation
using their mandate for deficit wrecks
with weaponized tariffs and taxation
and kissing the ass of their overlords...
who force the meek to...

Eat a bullet to quiet my demons
Help on the way
Save me from myself
The powder on my fingers
Will live with them through eternity

God at 6:00 o'clock A.M.
Dressed in what they call a long gown,
I had trouble figuring out
front from back, which string to knot
with which, I look like a man who
has buttoned his shirt two holes wrong.
Nevermind — In the umbra
of Radiology, I will not
see anyone not rightfully there.
It is quiet, 6 in the morning quiet.
For company, a sphygmomanometer
that looks like an octopus trying
to climb out of a wire basket,
a weighing scale, cubicles for
prep talks, to dress behind and where
they punch holes into arms for the dye.
I fiddle...

Fear of being a fraud
Always been my fallout
How can I move forward

Folks hot and eager to deport
will be no friends of mine
since disenfranchisement, for sport,
is evil by design.
By and large their rage is the same
as those who call for war
or play the game wherein they blame
the destitute and more.
It's always downward that they punch
like Nazis did to Jews;
divide and conquer by the bunch
then up spin in the news.
The bullies don't want us to know
how angry they can be
like when there's ketchup that they throw...
when someone won't agree.
