unadulterated pain with its butterflywings mutated
they know how to morph but not fly
in sync with smiles that don't form from the soul
plastic, no paper will heal our planet
Who will heal the heart?
we used to know one another without talking
now we're afraid to look in each other's lying eyes
it's okay, smile nod, of course it is
penetrate the lie and sit and fib for a while
I don't know about you, but I'm dying inside
things are changing at light speed
but are they? I had a baby alive at five
