It's a dance for sure- the difference between ignoring your negative emotions unhealthily and facing them head on with authenticity and sincerity. Solid, Liquid, Gas....
one often obsesses about concepts of "life after death"; imagined round about ways to glimpse "there"-nothing less than lucid;
one admits that one's heavily bound by the solid exterior that is flesh; blissfully yet cognitively navigating this realm like liquid- in often wonder of during/after the "gas" aspect when there's no more body left;

A Message For You
Since today is Thanksgiving, I wanted to reflect on a couple of things.
And no, there will not be any murder, death, debauchery, orgasms, bizarre antics or twisted endings in this message. I'll save that for tomorrow.
I've been here since January of 2024. I have enjoyed this site immensely. The best part of this site was reading other people's poetry. Were all different. We all tackle life the way we believe it should be tackled. Your viewpoints and ideas we'll probably be different then mine or someone else's. That's ok. It creates a unique individual that will shed light...

In the heart of Africa... a tale unfolds,
of oil and gold... diamonds and coal
riches untold... of lands turned cold.
Our soil, a treasure... deep and vast
Yet stolen by shadows from the very past.
Corrupt leaders sit... on lofty thrones
Trading futures... for foreign loans.
They dine in luxury... in gold arrays,
While the people suffer... lost in haze.
The streets are weary... hope is thin
