A Ceasefire for a Genocide, He Begs
It's time for this war to end
the old white man said standing
on land irrigated with the
blood of forty thousand, blood
of mostly women and children.
It must end, for just six hours,
words wafting over rubble,
drifting through hospitals now
only morgues, whispering
through schools the children lie
under instead of learning in,
whirling through evacuation
camps evacuated by bombs.

the lectern while talking
about a country he denies

Heaven opened serendipitous and ornate walked her by decision
Not just any but her specially given entrusted to me
This woman submitted to love a good man who yearns reciprocity
Both have big ideas and long for family shared

Night
I want to break out into the night
Go somewhere far from sight
Drifting into the absence of light
Beyond the reach of the fight
Under the stars surrounded by peace
All the cares and worries come to cease
Hidden from the world, able to release
The company of shadows makes the anxiety decrease
Stillness brings serenity to my soul
The solitude facilitates me gaining control
Free from the weight of playing a role
Recharging the energy that the daylight stole
I'd try to keep moving to stay ahead of the sun ...

days are blending into one again
the pattern is coming back
the rotting in bed
not eating enough or too much
pushing everyone away
its all here once again
suffer in silence
as you watch people drift away from you
the red is dripping but you cant tell anyone
feeling lost
whats the point?
days pass by you in a second
who are you?
you wish you had someone
act like you dont care when it bothers you most
try to end it all but fail
take as many pills as you can
yet still no one cares enough
you’ll never be...

The flag of the red planet
The only flag I want on mars
Is one free of color, One free of scars.
Freed from ego and vanity
And that state of division twixt you and me.
The only flag to be flown off this planet,
should be one without borders and nations goddamnit.
No reds and no whites and no aquamarines…
No flags of control of any regimes.
No border round the craters,
no passport for the stars.
No colors on the only flag
That should be flown on mars.

Mountain Spirit
I find myself longing to go back every time I can
That temple nestled between the hills in the mountains
The gentle hush of nature and great open skies
Away from the city, away from the noise
I always find myself in awe of that place
When sitting inside in complete silence and reverence
The incense burning with wisdom and sage
As if in the stillness you can hear the light
