The moonlit nights are best of all
Because of all that she emits
Like an actinic waterfall
Or the throne where a goddess sits
Emitting aether strange and rare
Inveigling the mortal mind
With a splendid immortal air
Which some folk seek and never find
Because it's always overhead
Way up in the nocturnal sky
Where the classical gods are dead
And modern folk just don't know why
Since they never read the diverse books
Outside the clergy's dirty nooks.

Humans
..and think of the
lovely Greeks.
And more so, what
were thier reasons to
tell thier stories.
Pandora would say,
yes there are evils
in the world,
and they sting at you badly.
But isn't it a lovely story,
where through your
pain & misery
of what you found,
just by being human,
that there is hope?
...the story of Paris, and in
his contentment of being
only a shepherd, in a remote
part of the world.
We cannot win for losing.

WHO AM I
Who am I ? This former image of a man but now a wolf, as I seem to be awaken within a dream. As the mirror reflection of the water. Iooks back at me when I find thyself. Staring at the very image of a WOLF, as a former image of thyself being a human as a man. For deep beneath the surface of my thoughts and feelings, part of my life still exists in my mind and heart. Yet leaving me to PONDER, my most deepest feelings and thoughts. For is this a very true existence of things yet to come, as the subconscious images of a WOLF and it's majestic sense of exchange. As I have evolved from being a...

Lunatic Fringe
Understanding the
Lunatic Fringe
In how I felt,
In poetry I was young again
and fashioning the
Muse on Hippocrene
as tulpa, Pegasus?
Was it real?
Did it make any sense?
Waking and remembering
who I am. I wrote it down
as time rode in on
the white sea horse.
Horse not made of myth,
But Horse made
out of consciousness.
Praise the Ancients,
Dare the Lunatic Fringe.

Dick and his cat
Dick and his cat
I was in the deep depth of youth
sitting in a library struggling through
Dick Whittington and his cat.
Looked the fable up on Wikipedia
and was disappointed,
Dick and his cat were different
from my recollection
I had the cat and Dick walking
to London
In my fantasy world, the story was
much richer, so I will stick
to my version

Beowulf Pt.2
I asked her what his name was, then dropped the silver on the floor screaming it
His mother burst into a hysterical laugh, hoping that she was dreaming it
I should had seen the resemblance, I should had been a better parent than my own
His mother is promising death to me and the guilt wont leave me alone
I buried Grendel among my gods, a boy without a father lead wayward
I should had been proud of his many conquest instead of listening to the naysayers
His mom constantly tries to bed me and asking if I want something to eat
In between her promise to...

Beowulf
I, I am Beowulf a God among men
Adventurer of a many exploits, my beginnings touches my ends
My existence began so far away, in the dark recesses of a country town
Across an ocean and hidden behind a mountain range, no more than a whelp when found
Offered to board a ship, to be fed while learning a trade
Thirty pieces of silver exchanged hands, my parents smiled and a deal was made
Carted off to the ship, the first I’d seen the ocean or been away from home
The hard work I was accustom, but enough to eat wasn’t the norm
I learned my duties...

It Takes All Sorts
iF Icarus
Had a liking
For liqourice
And changed gender
To a transwoman
Then.......
Icarus
Liquorice
Clitoris
All sorts?
Whilst waxing lyrical
With a feathered quill
Hot
Under a burning sun
And a different kind of thrill
Well
It takes all sorts.......

Tales of Camelot
Oh do not look too closely at the tales
of Camelot.
Allow the mists of time
to polish what we think we know.
It may well be, in truth,
that Arthur was a thieving brute
and Guinivere his whore;
the table but a circus show
and Lancelot a bore.

Medusa
She was cursed through no fault of her very own
She saw herself as ugly through and through, someone no one would ever want
Everyone that she loved turned their backs, she was cursed by the gods
She thought that she was doing everything right, but she was going against the odds
She retreated to hidden caverns deep within her heart and mind
For ages upon ages she suffered, transformed, and made herself hard to find
Round eyes took on an almond shape, with a slant and freezing stare
She moved as if slithering, and a pit full of vipers resembled her hair ...

La Voladora
When I was a little girl, growing up in Chile
My father told me a story of a terrible monster.
At night it flies about on widest black wings
While once it was a girl, only one older than I.
La Voladora is her name, and one she shares
With others of her kind who serve dark power.
Where she flies many see her shadow on the wall
A tragic child is she, long parted from her kin.
Oh Voladora, what makes you so sad?
Did you not have a proper mom and dad
Or were you stolen away from your crib,
And in some sorcerer's cavern artfully hid! ...

Dido 1
English version:
Every time I see you
The room is filled with fire
And all my ration
Gets taken by desire
Like a light in the chaos
You always shine through
I ask the gods! What makes me
so drawn to you?
Your stories of war
and your stories of loss
Take me back to my husband
The pain it has caused
The vows I made
I could never betray
I'd hold him forever
Even in his grave
I'm like a deer
Struck by an arrow
Turned to madness
All thanks to Cupido
Pray to Venus
That...
