Humans

...and think of the
lovely Greeks.

And more so, what
were thier reasons to
tell thier stories.

Pandora would say,
yes  there are evils
in the world,
and they sting at you badly.

But isn't it a lovely story,
where through your
pain & misery
of what you found,
just by being human,
that there is hope?

...the story of Paris,  and in
his contentment  of being
only a shepherd,  in a remote
part of the world.
We cannot win for losing.
And yet we start wars.

And only by chance
was he chosen by Jupiter,
to handout a golden apple,
in judging a ridiculous
and egotistical contest
between 3 magnificent goddesses.

I started laughing.
We are here indeed only for the folly.

Humans

The poets, in oratory times,
must have been mocking
the Gods & Godesess for their character,

and how vain they are...

Author's Note
I love to sit outside on Sunday mornings, get stoned on some Krypto Chronic, drink coffee, and for the love of the Greeks, I'll write a little poem. 😂
