Skin
Feel comfortable in my skin
My skin is flaking like I’m a Mummy
I see the cells in my epidermis
Clock is ticking but I disagree
In the long stretch of a Kentucky Derby
Camera flashes looks like we have a photo finish
A nose just above the finish line
You are crowned with Roses
But I feel comfortable in me
Fireworks in the sky above me
I crawl back into my skin
My skin saves me from bad weather
In the final quarter we are striding 12 legs strong

Echoing Myths - with Adagio
Ebbing twilight of souls, gods and monsters
the banshee’s scream echoing myths
roaming the Irish countryside
a supernatural songstress
wailing an omen of doom
hovering, floating, like a mist
gliding over the thatched cottages
where the aroma of Stobhach lingers
a foretelling for the dying
lamenting anguish
releasing a sonic scream
eclipsing whisperings of the heart
inhumane amplitude of fatality
shattering the winter’s glass of ice
an eeriness of imminent demise
forged by the banshee’s song
mournful melodies ...

Beyond the shadow
In darkness, I dwell, where shadows roam
A world that's turned cold, leaving me to atone
For sins I didn't commit, I wear the blame
A heart once full, now but a hollow frame
When the going gets tough, the tough get going
But I'm stuck in the mud, with no way of knowing
If I'll ever find my way, out of this darkest night
Or if I'll be forever lost, without a guiding light
Lonely streets, I wander, lost and forlorn
Echoes of memories, forever torn
From the depths of despair, I cry out in pain
But the world just moves on, leaving...

water
a sweet sister in sin has emerged from the shadows
to tell me some secrets to make me wise
she will not be so careless as to tell me her name
she is here to bring my soul some rest
I've always told the powers that be to masquerade when they come
and veil their minds to protect our thoughts and identity
once I'm sure we have a private wavelength
I tell her to send the information it will go straight to my mind
there are so many levels in the mind
all the knowledge she sent is high-clearance access
she says the word among the powers...

Ancient Pact of Iron
Through argent smoke and sigil’s glow
The iron spirits writhe in pain
Summoned forth from the deep below
Through rites of ash and binding chain
The magus chants with fervent zeal
Inscribed in glyphs of ancient lore
His voice a key, the arcane seal
To bend the wraiths and bar the door
Through spheres of Netzach’s twisted light
They coil ‘round rods of mystic lead
In shadows black as endless night
The rites are carved, the spirits bled
Unseen currents of ether pull...

Aureate Divinity of Gilded Shadow
In sanctums veiled, where shadows gleam
A gilded dark, a twisted dream
No sun nor star could dare unveil
The golden black where spirits wail
Divine the shade, the shadows crawl
In golden veils, the light they maul
A blessed dark, a holy blight
Where gold and black entwine the night
O hallowed void, thou art adorned
With splintered rays of darkness scorned
The light that bends beneath thy shroud
To forge a throne of midnight proud
In cathedrals wrought of silent...

Apocalyptic Genesis
In the dim of creation's mournful sigh
As stars retreat from heaven's eye
The watchers stand in spectral line
Bearing the weight of ending time
The firmament bends, the sky is torn
For Genesis lies dead and worn
A warrior clad in shadowed steel
Grips a sword that once could heal
He guards no gate, no light to keep
His purpose lost, his vigil deep
His eyes once fierce now dark and grim
For all is lost that once was him
The herald, silent by his horn
No trumpet calls the new day born

Lost Kings and Skeletal Crowns
In halls where time doth cease to tread
Where stone and silence keep the dead
A throne room sits in shadow’s keep
Where ancient kings eternal sleep
Their crowns of rust, their robes of dust
Long turned to ash, long broke in trust
They sit on thrones of crumbled might
Enshrouded deep in endless night
The air hangs thick with death’s cold breath
A realm untouched by life or death
No whisper stirs, no flicker’s glow
Just dark that swallows all below
The chandeliers,...

Autumn Stones and Bloody Pools
The autumn stones lie cold and strewn
'Neath bloodied pools that blush at moon
Where crimson leaves like whispers fall
And shadows dance 'gainst ancient wall
In pools that catch the twilight’s glow
The blood of rites long lost doth flow
A nameless hymn to gods of yore
To demons' dark, to spirits’ lore
By jagged rocks and sylvan’s end
Where tempests break and branches bend
There lurks the spawn of Namtar's breath
Who weaves his curses strong as death
The night is...

A House of Cinder
Hoping for a benevolent Hades
Or a steadfast Charon
The wandering soul arrives
With but a coin to swear on
There, just above the Stygius
Where once Achilles came
The gates of Infernus
Covered in eternal flame
The ghost, clad in simple garments
Looks down upon the waterbed
And where once was the gateway to torment
The river remained empty and dead
Quick, he wanders down the path
That the old river once drew
Though afraid of Cerberus's wrath
His other options were few
Stopping, his barren...

Draugr
Held tight by midnight's grip
Rotted flesh packs long ships
Coming from where frost bites
Storied bones lost to light
Yggdrasil’s root to Hel’s dark gate
Bound by wyrd, the Norns' cruel fate
Runes adorn the burial stone
Heralding a trove of restless bones
Tattered banners and olden grounds
What lurks beneath the mounds?
Empty eyes devoid of Niflheim’s mist
Jormungandr's venom kissed
Desecrate Asgard's hallowed halls
Death of worlds the gods...
