Ancestors Living - with Anne-Ri999
ancestors living within my soul
of nightmares grain of sand
moss stone trees
and fire
ecstatic shudder
sliding off my poetic tongue
neath entering a thousand rooms
but my eyes are closed
swallowing the semen's ink
of dark's persona non grata
shimmering liminal
exact midpoint where
spring equinox
and summer solstice
have courted death again

moss stone trees
and fire

but my eyes are closed
swallowing the semen's ink

Ash tree nymphs - with Anne-Ri999
Tangerine tokens robed as clouds floating.
While still safe within the great womb of All mother
I could notice each delicate footstep.
more than a memory of a jester who dances incognito
the role when the doors are closed in the shadows
A harmonium playing wind chime tunes.
your mind everlasting to hold the demons you taste
of ash-covered memories, I came to the awareness
dripping life's chowder
playing with the heart sucking one's soul
given in the darkness
I am Delphyne
Born as a serpent
harrowing...

the last viking
The Last Viking
There had been a storm, that uprooted
an old oak that exposed a gave
the grave of the last Viking, a rusty
sword beside him its grip was made
fallen stars, he had been a chieftain
When everybody had gone home for tea
the Viking checked his body
he was a skeleton and nude about it
In a workman's hut, he found
an overall and boots
The last one to say him was outside
a lingerie shop was an elderly lady
she thought he was trying to masturbate
who can blame him after being dead
for 500 years, he...

Orion The Hunter
As Orion, hunting, spurs Pegasus
armoured and armed as if for cosmic war
and takes as comrade brave, strong, Perseus,
Perseus, then seeks aid from Centaurus
on their ride to save Andromeda, more
as Orion, hunting, spurs Pegasus.
She was chained as sacrifice for Cetus
her father, implored, " Save my child " then roared
" And take as Comrade that brave, strong, Perseus!"
Perseus enlisted stout Centaurus,
the bloodhounds canis major and minor,
as Orion, hunting, spurs Pegasus,

Coyote
Do you remember the first
time you heard Coyote?
I was afraid.
There's a myth about Coyote
in his shapshifting days
and how he invented the world
in a most antagonistic way.
There's no vitality without
antagonism.
Why was the devil created?
The paneling on the wall
as I lay drifting away
in childhood,
there was Coyote
in the woodcarving
sneaking up on me, always.
I look at the legend of Coyote.
We listen to stories for
warning, and severity;
for the deeper...

MY MUSE RESURRECTED ME
My heart was bound
in chains feeling the
pains of losing you.
The attention given
by others didn't heal;
only served as a reminder.
Offers of endless pleasure
by the Nymphs on Erotic
shorelines were futile..
THEN!
OH THEN!
CLIO, the daughter
of Zeus, the
Muse of History; one
of the nine Muses,
came to me in a vision
and beautiful poetry;
with a message of hope..
I came alive as she rang
my doorbell. OMG! MY
Muse resurrected me back
to erotic adventures never
dreamed of. I bow daily...

pains of losing you.

Khione
From movement and ice, you sprang
Propagated by the maelstrom
Whipping shards of jagged glass
Reflecting bleached landscapes back at you
Prints covered as soon as they are made on the trek from the summit
To the peak
As what waits there is guarded by unspeakable wrath
Cold and detached from the colors it protects
Bolstered by a families never ending push downwards
Off the peaks
Into the sea
You dive deep
Deeper than most have dared to go
Deep enough that the light is lost and the pressure forces a chill...

In the Basement
In the Basement!
I’ve seen fear on the face of men in war,
that wide-eyed riveted gaze,
on mine in front of some foes with guns
who intended to extinguish my days.
Yet nothing could ever prepare me
for this tale I’m compelled to present
about hauling wet clothes to a dryer
downstairs in my buddy’s basement.
First the lights went out, I dropped the load.
The basement silence held two sounds,
like knives slicing air in the distance
and thudding feet walking soft ground.
I lunged for the stairway in darkness. ...

Hero, Monster or God
"Mythology can be defined as the sacred history of humankind. "
- Gerald Hausman
Peggysoarus
As silvered wings
shrug off the gale,
night descends long
her spectre pale.
High above it all,
soaring in the mists;
a soul gallops untethered
in a heavenly tryst.
To feel her heart beat
is to flutter great wings
and drift into sleep
as moondust she brings.
A creature of myth ...
