Don't Judge Me, Look At Yourself
People always ask me, are you alright?
You looked bummed out
Or they say Cheer Up!!
Smile!!!
What's the matter with you?
And I just stare at them
Nothing is wrong with me
Must be something with my face
Or my eyes that makes me look angry, sad or crazy
Some little girl no more then 7 walked up to me yesterday
She handed me a flower and told me to cheer up
It made me smile
I felt like taking the flower & shoving it down her throat
Piss off fucker!
You looked bummed out
Or they say Cheer Up!!
Smile!!!
What's the matter with you?
And I just stare at them
Nothing is wrong with me
Must be something with my face
Or my eyes that makes me look angry, sad or crazy
Some little girl no more then 7 walked up to me yesterday
She handed me a flower and told me to cheer up
It made me smile
I felt like taking the flower & shoving it down her throat
Piss off fucker!

Understand
I understand
I understand you
I understand me
I understand them
I can't shut it off
Sometimes I wish I didn't understand
The shit hurts
I know what I'm talking about
You know what I'm talking about
They know what I'm talking about
We all understand
Get it?
I understand you
I understand me
I understand them
I can't shut it off
Sometimes I wish I didn't understand
The shit hurts
I know what I'm talking about
You know what I'm talking about
They know what I'm talking about
We all understand
Get it?

Ode to Gen X
The poem unwritten, words rarely expressed
not ever the host, never asked to be guest
in your childhood, left feral, uncared for, discarded
tending to self, armed in latch-keys; unguarded
Apologetic, serene, your work-ethic on par
you cover your bruises, aware of your scars
where your face is forgotten you lead with your eyes
an adult at eight, and at fifty you rise
to the rather oblivious; your plans laid backstage
preparing for battle, persevering with age
you survive in your values; placid,...

Machine Blood
Nearing the days departure
Upon streetlights awakening
Pumping such machineblood
Fast into her steel veins cold
Crystal gaze, formal camouflage
To everyone, she's unassuming
Ancient eyes, turning on, locking in
With her, prey will always be prey
They never fight or take flight
She waltzes between their rhythm
Two shots, no second shooter
In her hands they drop like flies
Upon streetlights awakening
Pumping such machineblood
Fast into her steel veins cold
Crystal gaze, formal camouflage
To everyone, she's unassuming

Scrabbling for Synonyms for Skin
The dictionaries were rigidified
By certain secretions, spurted in the midst
Of our desperation to fuse two disparate dialects.
There, our separate speeches
Passed over the other, again and again,
And collected in a chasm carved by distinction.
Fruitlessly, we chafed against our dissimilitude.

Of our desperation to fuse two disparate dialects.

Passed over the other, again and again,
And collected in a chasm carved by distinction.
Fruitlessly, we chafed against our dissimilitude.

mirrors
pull me in, hallucination
I see you vividly in my dreams
much more than just imagination
you give me life, you make me weep
longing, I reach for nothing tangible
sorrowed lullabies swirl around my mind
I believe I know much more than planned
you're ruined like me
you are nothing and everything
the epitome of my desire
slip through the mirror with me
the ocean is not the deepest water
there's a grave in me and I think you know
that love is not the safest harbor
I believe you know much more than planned ...

Perverts, Politicians and Pyromaniacs
Psychopaths and perverts
Linger in the shadows
Of the night stopping only
Long enough to up the ante
In the war against malcontents
And fading politicians who are
Serving up deep-fried linoleum
To the public
When they're not selling
Propane to the pyros
Spurred on by
The cosmic karma backlash
Where the weak are
being spoonfed their
Daily dose of scorn
Somewhere, in the shadows
The perverts easily commiserate
Beating on their pale chests
Shouting "The beasts,
They will not die."

I exist, alone.
I see clear, this "matrix" for what it is; only in the physical sense am I bound by it; I die every time I close my eyes, waking back up into this life that isn't claimed by me-it is not mine;
I see another human being-i lean moreso towards so inclined to utter words outside the lines-instead I know to shut myself inside a box of many designed;
I do not hate myself-I hate my built in archetype-I hate this portal's hold on lives-especially when one seeks to get away from programmed lies; and mental torment over time;

Poets, The Innocent Liars
sometimes we have to fake to live
for a nice feedback to receive
thus, our hearts are quite and calm
and yet, we express too much pain
we are liars, the deceiftul writers
wicked crafters, and manipulators
we seek sympathy and others attention
even against our own self-abnegation
but, sincerely we are very bad actors
making color movies from old cliches
outdated scripts and Hitchcock scenarios
to look pitiful in masked low-budget thrillers
the innocent words to outwardly deliver
alas ! die so fast...

Drifter
Suitable log up on my shoulders, time for a run.
Up this mountain cool morning breeze is on.
Sixteen kilometers legs burn.
Respect and pain something you earn.
Throw the log from my shoulders time to lift
Train battery on a cable, the pain a gift.
Hundred twenty kilo rocks pick up throw.
Cold crisp air good for the soul.
Strap to my suv drag across the field.
Stretch again release the stress I build.
Seventy kilo rocks each hand punch
Nintey kilo rock do a few crunch.
Throw a rope in a tree...

SCARED VETS
Sign of the cross everytime am close to cross between foes and my woes,
Standing In the middle of this war no side is winning I want it no more,
The cons outweigh the pros I feel conned everytime i bury a bro,
I worry our egos wont let us see this flaws,
No matter who wins they'll still embrace a loss,
Tears for each soldier a rose for each loss,
It went not how it was supposed wish I knew the cost,
My brother's ghost haunting my dreams why the war is been lost,
My confidence feel forced Wish I...
