Elderliness
Closer and closer they came
old women with faces made of lava
and stinking volcanic mouths.
Bodies of soil after years of drought,
dead oasis simmered
between thin thighs and haloes
of brittle hair.
They slowly stomped during ancient dust
covered their bird claw feet.
I turned and fled through a thorny bush.
Stumbled into indifference time.
Fell into a muddy lake
and drowned in a cascade of ages.
Closer and closer they came
old women with faces made of lava
and stinking volcanic mouths.

The Salty Tears, Of The Dead
On the surface, bouncing, skimming stones
Where tails of Mermaids, splashed, in myriad tones
Beneath, where lay the drifting bones
Of the locker, of the fabled Davy Jones
Lured by the Sirens, succulently seductive, drones
Now lie beside, Poseidon's gilded, hallowed throne

Equus ferrous
There is a storm blowing when blue waves crash ashore
white horses with flying mane gallop up, blocking the road.
The stallions become a river, pushing useless cars aside
to drown in their futility.
The town below is a lake, rats escaping the sewers runs
up to the third-floor frightening people with their anger
eat babies’ eyes.
A new generation of the unseeing kind, the previous one
could see but didn´t understand busy
as they were playing with the cell phones taking selfies.
Everything ends, calm sea the wild...

She was born and raised
Off of the icy waters of Antarctica
Groomed to be the Ice mermaiden queen
To guide the tides and grace the open seas
Now that she's grown and flourishing

the survivor
The survivor
The pandemic has taken its toll, the survivors have fled to the woods
the town is full of mice, rats have decided to stay in their sewers
and sea-gulls get fat.
The mice use the zebra crossing and should a car come along
the driver will stop; he is trained to do this.
He-the driver- drives into town where runs out of petrol, sits there
and watches as the sea drain away like bathwater down a plug hole.
He needs insulin and walks home; it is a long walk.
At home, he gets his medicine and fry some bacon and bake a potato...

There was a sailor
Some say the best to sail the sea
He lived for the salty air
And longed for gold and rubies
But one day sitting quietly
In the darkest corner of a sunken pub
He heard tale of a treasure so great
It would overshadow all other loves
T'was a foreboding warning
Of beautiful sirens who lie in wait
And sing their spellbound lullabies
To entice sailors as bait
He shrugged it off

And set sail the next morning

it beckons me

Dear Sue and Jon (without an H!)
January has been a relatively quiet month so far
Apart from those noisy piano playing vampire mermaids!
They are so so loud
Although not as loud as my clothes!
I don't object to them occasionally nibbling my neck
Naughty mermaids! (ouch! that's not my neck?)
Anyway.... where was i?
Oh yeah, this months okay
Next month i'm dreading
A not so fab February
Two appointments at the Gender clinic
One at the dentist for new fangs!
