Man
Man, the softness of your presence
like rain that awakens the aroma of the earth.
Your essence penetrates deeply
in the roots of my soul, nourishing.
The days are adorned by your scrumptious joy
where every moment shared is a feast for the spirit.
You are the warmth of the sun on winter days
a beacon guiding through the darkness.
You dwell in me not as a guest
but as an integral part of who I am.
Your smiles echo in my memories
drawing serene landscapes in my thoughts.
You are the calm in the chaos, the gentle...
like rain that awakens the aroma of the earth.
Your essence penetrates deeply
in the roots of my soul, nourishing.

Beatrice and Arthur
Arthur comes down in a robe, pajama and slippers because it is 5:30 in the morning, and the damn blender is going off in the kitchen. And here's how that conversation went.
Beatrice
Ohh thank goodness you're awake. I was waiting until you rose. I need your assistance on this
Arthur
B, you woke me up at this godforsaken hour. For what reason?
Beatrice
You know I said I was starting my whole exercise regime. You said you would assist me with anything I ask of you. And I need your...

It is You
It was your hands
that held me when ill
genuinely grateful
you helped me be still
It was your strength
granting me courage to fight
when my hope was lost
and woefully out of sight
It was your belief
affording me assurance
that I could survive
fostering my endurance
It was your confidence
that willed me tenacity
to persevere through darkness
that forbade me to see
It is your heart always
that sweeps me away
yet keeps me grounded
and my demons at bay
It will forever...

Love’s Rushing in…!
Traveling at 186,000 miles per second
is the light in the night from Lightning
which blasts the molecules of air apart
to create a vacuum most frightening
but it’s not heated air being pushed apart
that makes that clamorous din.
After Lightning has struck
and the vacuum collapses,
Thunder is the air rushing in.
And the X-chromosome lies waiting alive
in the female egg with grace
for the first sperm penetrating its membrane
bringing spark for a life to embrace.
If an X is first, it will be a girl.
If a Y, it’s a boy...

between the lines
Yet the deepest truths are best read between the lines, and, for
the most part, refuse to be written.”—Amos Bronson Alcott
and yet i read you,
glyph and word and line,
and contemplate you
as my book divine,
parsing you mornings
—e’en at dead of night!—
sifting fair warnings
from your naked light.
rude metaphors hide
underneath your eyes,
stripping all my pride
as deep longings rise.
giggle all you want
at my helplessness:
you know that i can’t
half your milk express;

Bride’s Vengeance
In satin silk, she stands so still,
A bride adorned, with iron will,
Her heart once pure, now burned and black,
For trust has shattered, no turning back.
In secret shadows, she did find,
Her love betrayed, her soul confined,
His whispered vows, now tainted lies,
In passion’s grip, her anger flies.
She crept one night, with silent tread,
To see the truth her heart did dread,
Behind closed doors, she heard the sound,
Of love forbidden, betrayal found.
Her husband’s touch, on another’s skin,
The bridesmaid’s gasp,...

Want To Join Us For A Threesome?
Kelly came home and
found her husband Peter and
Bridget both naked in bed.
That was before he
held out his hand and asked "Want
to join us for a threesome?"
