HAPPY RESURRECTION DAYS
HAPPY RESURRECTION DAYS
He came from heaven to the earth
A little lower than the angels from birth
Pleasing His Father up above
Powered in prayer He showed His love
Young man wise as serpent gentle as dove!
Recalling today the day He gave up His life
Entering the heart of Jerusalem without a strife!
Soldiers up in front - up the streets
Until Golgotha He did reach
Recalling ALL He had done:
Redemption, Healing, Wonders and Signs all done for us through the Son
Entering different cities and different towns
Chastised...

Where's My Baby?
Part 1
They drug her by her hair
She kicked and screamed in despair
They bound her hands and feet
They carried her inside a bloody sheet
They threw her on a stump
Forcing her to position in a slump
They tore the sheet from round her head
A trio of sixes slowly bled
She sneered at her captives
In a language of madness
She vowed to exact revenge
Her words became a poisonous syringe
She mocked the performing priest
Her hatred for him increased
He bellowed the biblical scriptures
As the mass chanted the...

August 31st 2019 (Big Camp)
Five days after performing at Hastings Pride
(My first performance on a stage!)
I was then transported to Lincolnshire
For a fabulous Big Camp
In a field surrounded by other fields
Containing sheep, and turnips!
I'd put myself down on an open mic
I was awaiting my turn
And was to follow a strong man act
Which was pretty impressive
But i was thinking, how does a poet follow that?
Whilst waiting, i went to get myself another cider
When i noticed they had something called mead
Never liked honey, but thought 'when in Rome'

Mardi Gras Dreamer
Mardi Gras Dreamer
songbird
lost in the parade
gathers doubloons
that shine purple and gold
like Royal coinage
from the majesty of floats
with crowds yelling
throw me something mister
but the wealth of love
in her heart
is a treasure chest
for the Mardi Gras in her soul
that Ash Wednesday cannot vanquish
when the priest smudges a reminder
that life returns to dust
upon her furrowed brow
but she knows like a Pythian oracle
that her spirit will shine
like the eyes of the sun
in a Rio...
