A Haunting
Native flutes now blow
ever soft and low
warmed by a flame
rekindling sorrow
for every tomorrow
left without a name
that never arose
on this path we chose
filled with tears and shame
ever soft and low
warmed by a flame
rekindling sorrow
for every tomorrow
left without a name
that never arose
on this path we chose
filled with tears and shame

Tearful Trail
Only the strong will prevail
on this tearful trail
where tears make it muddy
every single step the ruddy
Forced on for these long weeks
along with the Cherokee and Creeks
heading further out west
without food, water or rest
On and on for days without end
with a resolution that will not bend
to these most dire times
defying all sentimental rhymes
Even though it was long ago
my tears continue to flow
when I again remember
pain with its enduring ember
For all that remain are the names ...

druid observations
winter is summer
the same tree pushed under coastal ice
and then dense by hazelnuts
the windshield gets a scraping
almost blinding a curve
both times all times uncovered
of unrelenting freeze and unrelenting life
spring is fall
the branch appoints itself
as a moonwalker leaping for the sun
one slow fraction of a second
bearing happily its lull
also cast off by a pull
ying and yang it cracks
it stretches it scarfs it loosens
the same person rises ...

Bear Witness
Mine is a poetry of witness" ~ Joy Harjo
I seek to thread my time
with fine thin lengths of rhyme
braided ever tight
to bear the weight of each write
So that I may be a witness
as I still seek to confess
all of the sins of the world
no matter how much more it is burled
For the passing of these days
the fading history of our ways
is never really gone
resurrected every nagging dawn
While we walk barefoot
feet blackened by all the soot
from all of these fires ...

My Ink is Red
Ever since I first bled
my ink has always been red
the color of a rusty sunset
the kind you never can forget
Meant to stain the blank page
with all its joy and its rage
all of its tears and laughter
from now to any hereafter
For I am a witness to the past
about a people born to last
beyond the twists of fate
surviving treachery and hate
Though bearing no direct fault
my tears still carry the salt
of a sadness in my bones
meant for one who still atones
So, what then can I now learn ...

the kind you never can forget
Meant to stain the blank page

If It Ain’t Woke…
You can try to outrun the past
but it is always too fast
waiting for you tomorrow
learning in the discerning future
for our confounding fathers
pass on their Orwellian sin
to those unwilling to begin
accepting black and white truth
whitewashed in youth
no chopped down cherry trees
missing verses lost on the breeze
of an ashamed anthem of denial

There way

We men have not a thing to say
When comes to sex or any other thing
She loves to be in controls all
As we are just puppets to do there will
We have to eat them when we forced face down
Are dick’s not ours any more?
We are tolled wear to put it and when
As well how
As puppets on a string
We bend at there will
We love their fruit to lick suck
Place our dicks in their holes why we think we
Control them in sex
Be not fooled we are not in control

Palliation Eternal. no
Finally figured out the WHY,
the dominant reason why in the past
THE TRUTH – the whole of it, uncloaked
never came out while excommunicated
painting a Pariah attempting to seal
in stone with Charges approval
seemingly also, with Creator’s consent ~
Mobs, once they get into a frenzy
a full head of steam, like Lemmings,
Unable to STOP even when facts
laid out upon their repast plates
refuse to accommodate
their fixed notions about what
transpired.

Rarely did I receive even a tiny tidbit of history
World War Two took a heavy toll on many
Okinawans looking like the enemy
forced to speak their language
on the spot, killed if caught
Okinawan
To this day, my Sister adamantly says
we are Japanese.
Guessing it is more fashionable
we STILL look the part
I used to fill out forms and go with that
if I thought I would benefit
Now days, it’s either or
Asian or White
I kind of can glue a mish-mash lore
