She was sandwiched between her car

That night up against her fender
in a few moments of pure bliss
We were under the moon and stars
and aglow by the neon lights
Well after the place had emptied
and the highlight of both our nights

A world apart
A hesitant look seeking approval,
shy yet inviting,
holding arms
across the flat of her stomach.
A primal instinct for survival
yet standing proud and fierce,
the utmost show of bravery in a naked world.
Lean hips and the aroma of two day old body odor,
earthy, pungent, and a little sweet.
The scent ignored, covered up and masked
but the most enticing human smell of all,
the animal scent,
mixed with something more,
The invisible pheromones of lust.
Tired, sick, jet lagged,
