It Is What It Is
What’s my next move?
I’m scared to dip my toe,
Petrified of every step,
Afraid of what I’ll never know.
But it’s necessary,
I can’t stay in your shadow,
There’s more to life than what you gave,
I need to find it, to let go.
My heart hurts, whether you see or not,
But let’s not dwell in all the ugly,
I won’t point fingers, or play the violin,
No, I owe no one an explanation.
If they ask, I’ll simply say—
It is what it is, and nothing more,
No excuses needed, not...

Can you hear the silence
I yearn for the silence to hear me
I run from the noise that assaults me
I breathe but my breath can’t hear me
I live for the silence that lives within the trees
We’re so used to the noise that silence scares us
I get anxious when the silence confronts me

in a vivacious spring
fell a sweet calamity
as love began to jell

my dream's river stirred
and the nemesis in summer?
wedged between me and you

to remind of age and passion
the growing jungles and the blues

It's a beautiful gift to watch your children tackle life unbroken when something so broken raised them. Running from my emotions. Pacing in slow motion.
Trying to figure out are you feeling this too.
I wanna be stuck inside you.
Mother may I? What can I do?
Hide and Seek or Peak-a-Boo?
Underneath the covers, playing like two lovers.
Tagging you until I'm through.
Let's see how that karma sutra looks on you.
Pilates, zumba, show me how your body moves.
Fast or slow, however you wanna set the groove.
I'll even throw in some Kung Fu.
Perhaps a little leg stretching with some Jiu Jitsu.
