THE OLD CHICKEN COUP
There she stood with tears rolling down her face and cheeks
Looking downward – such innocence – mild and meek
Her first trip to the slaughter house was no joke
Proved to be a one-sick hoax!
Slowly but surely – she told us the story
Leaving out NOT the gory!
“I was asked by dad
To join him fast
To pick out a chicken
“O Good Rid dens!
At last – no fret
I’m picking out my very first pet!"

The Bus Driver’s Game Pt. 2
In the clatter of the bus, where laughter rides high,
She steers through the streets as daylight drifts by.
With hands on the wheel and a smile like a net,
Oh, my heart skips a beat—she plays hard to get.
Her favorite color? A subtle gray hue;
Like clouds in the sky when they’re not sure what’s due.
And daisies all wild, with their quirky display—
Crazy little blooms that could brighten her day.
I whispered sweet plans while she counted her fare,
“I’d buy you some gifts! Just give me a dare.”
But she...

Like A Beacon
I thought you’d left a light on for me
in that place we built from thin air
and pieces of ourselves we hid
it stood as a monument to everything
I didn’t know I wanted
in that time it stilled
a grand design
a Van Gogh
using pain and suffering to
paint our version of “Starry Night”
turning it into the most gorgeous suffering
of fools in love
we emblazoned our names into the the bust of the mantle
with little hearts
like love sick teenagers
so someone could...

I just want freedom
From a place on the finest of lines
The scenario of irrational explanations
For every fucked up situation
Since I was born, these memories significantly

Eternal Love
Some people call it fate and some would call it destiny.
But what we have has much more depth I have searched eternity.
Each lifetime that we meet we have been threw heartache and deceat.
But this bond we hold is are love untold let's make a foundation that's concrete. Our eternal love will always hold my heart .
Just like davinci's life work our passion and love is like art.
I know you have doubts I had them too.
But A life with out you is not a life I wish to see threw.
No matter what we do our love is beyond...
But what we have has much more depth I have searched eternity.

I just wanna live
As I am a firm believer that I want to live my life, as I continue to stand and fight for this precious life, that I love and want for my wife and family and friends, to be able to live. For what I can relate to the most is when I thought about seeing myself, as I was feeling that I wasn't going to make it to see another day. But yet God Almighty insured me it's going to be alright, even with the process of dealing with different stages of cancers that took control over my life. For sure let's dig deeper than deep into my life, let's begin with the facts of what I have and had to learn to...

Be Well Forever, You
It’s the aurora of sunrise again
because I’ve always been a creature
that bridges two worlds
and in this moment before light breaks the dark
I look to the trees I would send you
showcasing the glory of dawn
and they’ve been hacked away
another tin shed blocks another moment where
I could share a snapshot of something beautiful
along with the road that leads to the mountains I would share
they’ve been butchered in the sake of progress because to quote that song
“we paved paradise and put up a parking lot”
I stopped that...
