Is where we see so much
Racism
Against
Men and women
In the city of sorrows
There are so much injustice
Against people
The black people are the
Blue color worker
And they earn less money than
The white people

a saw blade to the guts
The first time I
kissed your bleeding
knuckles,
was because you punched
a steel wall
when I called you
a liar
and I apologized
and huddled
against your
side
desperate
to feel our
languid heat
against my cheek
and we sat
here.
right the fuck here.
in the dark
sobbing
for things
we couldn't describe
and lives
we shouldn't steal
but we did
we stole those lives
stole the fuck out of them,
and...

Stand Strong
When the night .. is dark
and the road .. is long
And you can't .. seem to find
any reason .. to carry on
That's the time .. to look inside
There is strength .. though it may hide
I know .. you've tried
and failed .. so many times
I know .. you're tired
you just want . to give up and die
Stand up .. stand strong
It can't hurt .. for too long
When you're as low .. as you can get
Just know your life .. ain't over yet
There's a time .. there's a place

The March Continues...Time Lonely Proceeds

Impulsively Writing about the Misery of Myself
I'm amazed at how long.
I've managed to keep myself alive.
Without trying too.
Hard to keep living.
Mr Self Destruct.
Mr. Give Me Anything as Long as I'm baked.
Some life I sought, really.
In fact.
I tried not to live.
I sought death.
It seems like something or someone.
Is preventing me from dying.
And, I feel comforted in the comfortable annihilation.
I only feel in a deep sleep.
Or a concussive forcing me to wake up.
With rage and hate.
As my brain rockets off my skull
All this natural...

No eloquent way to express
All the feelings I have for you
A messy assortment of sadness and love
I miss you.

From the despair
Crying deeply, the insurmountable pain
Causes me to begin laughing in the midst of my grief
How can she have such a profound impact?

Note to self
She sells sea shells.
By the sea shore.
Cause.
I ain't taking her flights of fancy.
As some sacred script.
Change?
If you missed the forest for the trees.
Maybe you'd think that.
But, I'm consistently me.
I just stopped fantasizing about people.
Accepted them for how they were.
And, threw them away.
Like the refuse they are.
Everyone is a temporary light.
In a sea of engulfing darkness.
And I will shine brighter than the sun.
In the middle of night.
By the sea shore.
Cause.

A flicker of truth buried deep
Hidden secrets shadows keep
Promises woven spun with care
Illusions dancing in the air
They build a stage, a grand facade
Crafting stories to earn applause

Beneath the surface what's inside
Lies the rot they want to hide
