GARDEN OF EXCUSES
Place a fence around the Garden of Excuses for habits
To ward off the strays: dogs, foxes and rabbits
That nibble on our fruited seeds and vegetation
Ruining the livestock of our generation.
Don’t allow the rabbits near the carrots
Nor the little foxes near the parrots!
Shun them away from the garden
‘Lest they ruin the garden without pardon!
Your betrayal has no pardon
As you allowed my heart to harden
I created a comfortable cradle
Never knowing it would be fatal!

We as one love
We as one love always and forever as we each change each others life and world. 🌍 For I knew that you were the one that was sent, from above to really brighten up my life and show me that love, does exist in some people's hearts and the minds of those who haven't given up, on finding that special one. They say if you can't love someone right, then leave them alone, for it seems that you haven't grown up yet. FOR you're still playing those childish like mind games. FOR your own foolish personal gain, with one thing on your mind to leave me broken, into little bits of scattered pieces of shatter broken like antique crystals glass. For it comes a time in each of our lives, that you gotta know that doesn't work anymore on some people. For sure you are one of those who has disregards of how you make people feel, with no shame of what you have done to someone, who doesn't deserve to be treated...

Bart’s Bouncing Donuts.
Bartholomew "Bart". My Buttercup. He’s a man of boundless enthusiasm, a heart of pure spun sugar, and ideas that would make a caffeinated squirrel look lethargic. I love him dearly. Truly, I do. But sometimes, his entrepreneurial spirit… well, it leaves me a little breathless.
For years, he’s been plagued with flightless business adventures. The "Chihuahua Chinchilla", the "Edible Eyeglasses", the "Self-Folding Laundry". (the less said about the hamster union strike, the better). I still find stray sunflower seeds in the dryer....

One day I stopped hating
I ceased all meaningless activity
I completed the circle
I set my sights straight
Like an arrow I flew
I stopped acting
I got tired of playing with you
Violence & destruction became my reason for living
My out, my excuse
What is your excuse?

Without hate, without fear, without judgement
I am no better then you
No one knows this better then I do
I just got tired of playing parlor games

Im heere two tel u that u ned too stay in skol
I am proof that if yo do't go to skool yo'l end up like me
i dropes out of the 1st grad becuse my teecher give me bad grades & homwork
I left home
I wind up on the stret
dope and alchol fuked my brain by 9
I can't wread & rite two wel
was shot n tha arm and legg thre times
Mum and pops disoned me
I found jeebus, satan and PAR one day
They puled me from the guter
they tawt me how to be a nice, kind man

Hand and Eye
My little guy has got the hand and eye
See a shape and put your hands in place
To receive what I’m delivering
As it’s coming in…depth perception kicks in
Two points on a map and intersect where you should be
He sees the ball and anticipates where
And what direction
The passing wind can have an effect
You have to put that into the equation
Split second decisions between hand and eye
When you hawk that ball and hunt it down
It ends up positive with clapping all around
Next thing you know you helped...

The Next Idea
Here I go again
Throwing words around
I only ever get it right
Maybe 10% of the time
And it makes me wonder why I try
Sometimes anyway
Other times I'm just like every other poet on here
Just working hard and hoping against hope
That the next toss of the alphabet
Will be something that I can be proud of
If not I'll wonder how I could possibly fuck up
Such a surefire idea
And then get excited all over again
When I have the next one
Ah, a life with words
And emotions
It gives me an idea for a poem

Train (Revised)
Metal against steel.
Fiery carbon, for tracks, hot rolled.
That distant bolt of light, spreads it's blinding sheath, on it's horizontal climb.
It's far-off whistle, becomes a horn, nearer now.
Sudden turns, are negotiation.
Rumbling becomes rhythm....an axel, hitting it's stride.
A fire bellows, at "her" base....
Swelled metal hips.... swaying....
The night sky, is turned grey, with determination.
Grinding to a stop....
The air is acrid with exhaust....but "she" untired.
