Of Death And Birth: Fire And The Rose
We die with the dying:
See, they depart and we go with them.
We are born with the dead:
See, they return, and bring us with them.'
-T. S. Elliot
I
The way of ignorance is the way home:
Go, go! Folly is the only way;
knowledge is the unlearning of itself.
Do not try harder, try less;
this is the only way, the unpropitious one.
(Love is the only lesson that can't be learned.)
The Sky and The Earth agree:
I end where I began,
the way there...
See, they depart and we go with them.
We are born with the dead:
See, they return, and bring us with them.'
-T. S. Elliot

The Incidental Poet
what moves the quill?
life itself
the trials..the tribulations
the triumphs
triangulated on a poetic canvass
questioning death
the afterlife....etc etc
so many places to go
but admittedly
everything ain't for show n tell
not for public consumption
no matter how much it consumes
my everyday thoughts
some poems will remain forever un-written..
etched in blood
chiseled in cauterized braille
on a sacrificial heart
but with that said...

From Mushroom Rings To Redwood Trees
Grasp, reluctant to scattered release-
Sprouts of air, into dust drifted seeds-
Floated trip, held high, on springing breeze-
---
All will fall, and find nestle in dirt-
Patience itself, awaiting own birth-
Taking nothing, to give in return-
---
Given to ride, on winds reternal grip-
Embrace of both, released in their kiss-
Anytime dew, formed from crisp fallen mist-
---
Anew lover, formed from flight beneath-
Glimpse of grasp, as symbiotics meet-
And thus, the thirst, gives itself to seed-

LOVE NEVER DIES
When love truly hurts beyond what you feel it hides in the deepness that swirls within the darkness were the love you once had use to live and roam within the depth of your heart, but as with all things in life it too will die right before your very eyes but yet you will wonder as you ponder this question WHY, FOR HAVEN'T I BEEN THERE FOR YOU WHEN THE WORLD BEATS YOU DOWN AND YOU NEEDED A STRONG SHOULDER TO HOLD YOU UP AND WEPT THE TEARS FROM YOUR CRYING EYES THAT GOES UNSEEN.

From my mind I remember how life use to be back in the days but right before my mind eyes life changed with the times for no longer is there true honor and respect no longer is your word your bond as your words no longer hold any weight, for it all has change for the worse for now we have gotten so wrapped up in this computer world that some of us no longer pick up the phone and call and chat with someone which has been replace by texts and emails even when we break up in our relationships for social media has become the new play ground for some adults. ...

THE LONG HAUL
From my mind I still see and feel your body as I see your face and feel you in the depth and deepness of my body and soul for you bring to my mind a scene of us in our very first outer and inner encounter as one spiritual soul, for there were no insecurities for we each have our flaws and imperfections from our own exchanges within life and the world, but there at that very moment it was you and me were there were no illusions nor disguises of wearing a mask of distraction hiding behind false lies. ...

Specular Singularities
(- -) eroding frame's crudebase
dimlit midnights soak in an abundant
haze of cheap eucalyptus essence from
her unwaveringly flaming glassine Borosil
[a miniaturized lab-lantern, in lacklustre
& no aesthetics of an artisanal treasure]
in struggled still holds of a dancing flame
whipped by the dizzying whirlwind fans
in mindless arrogance of a noisy loom
despite its multidecked dustfull crusts
some 70’s music ooze in the background
in lazed tortoise breaths of...

The Oration of My Birth
The top-heavy desktop skated on a luminescent leaf.
While the curtain swaddled a blow-fish until full red,
the bees drank the mortar of the apartment blocks.
My blanket hadn't formed for a while from the cough syrup dripped on the Twister floor,
but the fabric filled the curve of a bubble wand.
One clothes hanger bent out of place
to poke a fried chicken breast awaited throbbing,
other than the broil of a stuffed bunny too puffy to leave itself in professional football.
The silk worms toiled together the...
