Macbeth a tragedy
I have ruminated my Holinshed
not idleheaded as in fairyland,
but stern employment and in fullhearted
hobnob with the past to put to my hand
a play, master Holinshed, obliged me.
And a right cruelhearted play at that,
to sharp out-herod's killing roguery
a Scott's King's murder an', all that, begat....
I shall out, out, pen's honey-tongued humour
to metamorphize to foul bloodyness,
to silence my groundling's jaded clangour
and turn rivals to...

In his own words
Over one thousand words I have exposed
and fitted right champion to the tongue,
note, some I ungraved, some, unretired,
if asked ' Who's hot-blood, metamorphized these?'
Tell them, William Shakespeare, esquire
(make strong hints as to my Unknightedness!)
late of St Helen's parish, Bishopsgate,
London, now home again, in my birthplace
in our New Place, Stratford -upon-Avon.
Once I had youth's Friday nights eagerness
to belly forth to embrace employment

Shakespeare Soliloquizing at Home
To be or not to be in London town;
plagued by armed bandits in dog-turd strewn streets,
arse racked bloody on lame nag's rough ride down,
and greets by sicked, pox-pricked-bawd's beggars bleats?
Foul beer, stinking bacon and beds be damp
where Taverners are filthy cheating rogues,
the roiling smog brings ague and hand cramps,
chance of hen's teeth, not whole clay-pipes to smoke...
But friendings there, Burbage and...

Lady Macdeath
Kiss of death
Since Macbeth
Ten days imprisoned
Within my ivory tower
Like a wilting flower
Other than a four hour
Sojourn
No conquests, at the Conquest
No swords, at my behest
Blood was spilt
Drawn through the eye of a needle
No daggers drawn
Or Mick Jagger yawn
No nice Chianti
Dripping upon my liver
Silenced lambs
That would make me quiver
I have returned to my retreat
My castle in the sky
Further recluse'd
And people shy
My belly empty
And my throat is dry
This virus

The Day I Stabbed Shakespeare's Ghost, And Also Made Him Laugh
I once possessed
An Elizabethan Silver Sixpence
(It had seen better days)
And i wondered
Through whose hands
It had once passed
Also
As i held this coin
In the palm of my hand
That it may once of
Been sat in the palm
Of William Shakespeare!
I then imagined
His ghost appearing
Shouting:
"Oye you, hermpen homespun!"
"Return my silver forthwith!"
I responded:
"Depart my humble abode, now!"
"You're bard!"
He responded:

This Past Future Forager.
September? I shall be a forager...
as I ride Autumn's woodland's bridle paths,
trailed by belladonna's sweet aroma
and the shock of bright blue-flowered wild flax.
I have marked sweet apple; crab-apple trees,
blackberry, hazel tree's nuts, squirrel-like,
and I shan't do battle with working bees
for they guard their King, sleeping, in the hive...

his bitter rue, the three witches hedge-pig, ...

ways out of the city were the
gates; he considered aldgate
as good as any other than
that he thought of new cross gate,
london bridge and the ferry
that would row you across
the river to southwark, to the globe, unimaginable escape ..

genius!
I mean, you won’t come up
with a better title for a romantic comedy than a midsummer
night’s dream all you like ..

and, sat in the wings ..
I’ve seen many plays
at the globe, but the one
that sticks out was
a midsummer nights
dream, when we sat in
the wings of faerie ..

Shaky!!!
Shakespeare
You're funny
"What hempen homespuns
have we swaggering here!"
How on Earth
Did he know
So much about me?
"What fools these mortals be?"
Ah!
And so i now see
Time to put
The mirror away
And leave these Skakespearian memories
Further astray

Hamlet
I pray you will see me
As I patiently wait for you
Sparing none of her flowers
She sets them gently upon the river
Wishing them the joy she’s lost hope in finding
Her mind is a torrential flood of sorrow
God knows I’ve tried to save her
Starving for solitude, she placed me into her heart
She prays I will see her
As she patiently waits for me
With more to gain with the loss
Mother seems only careless
Never blinked twice to question who slew the King
While I scream at the sky
And cry to the ghost ...
