the beauty of life
a lone dandelion dances on the breeze
saddened by life I look to her in her natural state
nature never stops with its celebration of life
it is ever diligent with its truth
I watch the birds of the air kiss the sky
I long to be that innocent
an honest creature of hope
if they are saddened by the world as it is today
they never complain
no storm or earthly trouble keeps them from their duty
like clockwork with their diligent pursuit of life
I awaken to bird chatter and song
they humbly remind me life goes on

9 Commandments
1. You don’t have to dream
Unlike how Muricans (Americans) cry on their reality TV shows about how it is their dream and sell you sob stories, I would suggest it is okay to not have a dream. And, if your dream is big enough to be a life-long effort it will give you something to do with your time, but by the time you reach it, you’ll be almost dead so it won’t matter.
Rather be micro-ambitious. Put your head down and work with pride on whatever is in front of you… you never know where you might end up. Just be aware that the next worthy pursuit will probably appear in your...

A jewel
No need to look too far ahead
The future dances in the blur
Every dawn offers a witness
A pure moment, a sweet moment
Don't run after tomorrow
It is only an uncertain dream
The present is a jewel
A fragile and beautiful shine
Breathe, love, laugh, feel
Because everything is happening in this moment
The future dances in the blur
Every dawn offers a witness
A pure moment, a sweet moment
Don't run after tomorrow
It is only an uncertain dream
The present is a jewel
A fragile and beautiful shine
Breathe, love, laugh, feel
Because everything is happening in this moment

Hoods
Childhood
Winds may blow harshly
Roots persist beneath the storm
We remain ourselves.
Adulthood
Light on the horizon
Path unshadowed by others
I am my own guide.
Elderhood
In the mirror, strength
Reflection of courage true
Voice of liberty.
Winds may blow harshly
Roots persist beneath the storm
We remain ourselves.
Adulthood
Light on the horizon
Path unshadowed by others
I am my own guide.
Elderhood
In the mirror, strength
Reflection of courage true
Voice of liberty.

Satinpods
The honesty plants, standing still,
all sport a misty moonbeam glow
by quarter phase lunar halo
commanding her December chill
by hallowed fringe of sovereign gold
surrounded by a hint of peach
as if it had that tint to teach
these last few weeks of autumn cold,
where silver dollars, still standing,
are seemingly eager to earn
a lunar lesson where they learn
how to keep their coins blanding
and as transparent as a ghost...
where eidolon itself osmosed.
all sport a misty moonbeam glow
by quarter phase lunar halo
commanding her December chill
by hallowed fringe of sovereign gold
surrounded by a hint of peach
as if it had that tint to teach
these last few weeks of autumn cold,
where silver dollars, still standing,
are seemingly eager to earn

how to keep their coins blanding
and as transparent as a ghost...
