Four letter words
i) fore word
Just some talk here,
then your main poem.
Ears open? Good!
Eyes wide? Yeah!
Take care!
ii) four word
Can't stop this ride!
Your life zips past
with fast pace;
full pelt.
Walk, then rise, then dash.
Life will seem long,
Much like soft rain,
tame wind,
can't stay here,
life ends; gone soon.
Thus, view each hour with care;
some good, some fine.
Take time; feel each feel:
love, fear, rage, zeal.
Even lows help grow hope.
Work hard? Earn more?

Challenges with love
They say that through this cycle of life 🙏 we will have to go through so much sometimes with things that will even change our own lives. Down to the way of how deep does the hurt and pain, goes deeper than deep, into the subconscious of our deepest thoughts. Yes the truth is that what we have to do for thyself, is to analyze our own chains of thoughts. 🤔 telling ourselves we have to learn how to navigate, through times like these and have a different kind of perception. For sure there will be real challenges, with love and honor and respect. For each other as one. But yet we...

Burn anyway
Who cares if the applause fades,
if the crowd moves on?
I don’t
(but darling, keep singing.)
Death leans in the doorway,
smirking at our plans.
We won’t trick him,
but we’ll leave graffiti on his walls.
So carve your name into the bark,
let the tree grow around it.
Dance in storms that’ll become legends,
kiss like you’re inventing fire.
The trick isn’t to dodge the end
it’s to drag your fingers along the walls,
leaving streaks of color
long after you’ve turned...

Demise
Anger held out at arms reach
Most touch it just to know
That beyond each worth reaching is another pain to know
But know the all or love just one
is conciousness conceding
Consumation of ones soul
Societies first feeding
Puts the last before the next desire to keep bleeding
As all undone before it
Never ending but not being
Hard enough to hold but something bourne of natural needing
Most touch it just to know
That beyond each worth reaching is another pain to know
But know the all or love just one
is conciousness conceding
Consumation of ones soul
Societies first feeding
Puts the last before the next desire to keep bleeding

The Bedroom Door
Our home was quiet since her father left four years before.
A single bare yellow light bulb lit the porch
Where my little girl fell into the arms of a boy
As I had done years before, caught in the spell of a first love.
Weeks later, I stood outside her bedroom door,
A stoic sentinel holding thoughts of my first time.
While listening to her laughter echo against the
walls of her modest room, I felt the sting of tears.
The years had flown past me like the gentle weep of willows.
Memories stirred my own youthful giggles, long...

The Silence of Running Water
We built a mountain
out of dust
dry skin on old bones
and hollowed-out eyes
drinking from the crack in the glass.
The rivers ran backward,
spitting out promises
that tasted like iron.
Feet,
footprints carved into gravel,
burning with the weight of a thousand forgotten years
we ran like shadows chasing the sun
but the light never reached us,
just slipped away
into the cracks of our teeth
and disappeared into the sky
that never looked down.
I saw the rain dance,
but it wasn’t real.
It was...

The fragile life of a house plant
Sun streaming through the east facing windows
collection of funeral plants
a magical garden depending on me
no time to fret the day is upon us
feed them water them or set them free

Special Healing
They say that through this life we all will go through somethings that will affect, us in so many ways that will have us to take a moment, to analyze as we exchange our thoughts turning them around. BUT yet it's those things that can break us or make us, change what needs to be done, for the true betterment of life. For sure things will happen to make us stop, taking things for granted and be thankful and grateful and blessed, for sure sometimes we are given a second chance at life. Just like we are given a chance of finding a love, to call our own woman to man and man to woman. For sure we...

willing
burning pressing
flowers curling
a curtain drawing up a hill
and finding time to be sublime
a market-after fill
waxing and waning gibbous
and a crescent new
inviting you to a party
what time what date with who?
and interior you think to ask
i missed you while you're here
because at the bottom of the silver glass
i bid you dear, come near.

How Sweet is This Coming!
I love who you are today,
your every panting breath,
your every child-like whimper.
Pressing deep, I think of
all your yesterdays—every
moment that has shaped you
into the woman I love today.
Oh God, how sweet is this coming!
your every panting breath,
your every child-like whimper.
Pressing deep, I think of

into the woman I love today.
Oh God, how sweet is this coming!
