April Fall
The Scottish court thing
Just in time for Spring
Where i'd hoped to be whiling away the hours
With my head amongst the flowers
When sunny days soon start to feel warm
A time when murmurations of Starlings swarm
Beautiful birdsong, floating on the air
Wonderful, and most debonair
The Cherry Blossoms, comes, and goes
Putting on a magnifiscent show
But the cold weather, replaced by cold hearts
As humanity arrives, then soon departs
I hope i'm not to early to curse
Aprils' not o0ver yet, it could get worse

A Letter To Mister Hodge Podge (nee; Hotchpotch!)
Dear Mister Hodge Podge (nee Hotchpotch),
I think i may have a solution
To the problem of ablution
Government funded would be fair
To help us in the trans community everywhere
To avoid these current potty issues
We all could have portable portaloos
To avoid crossing our legs, whilst hopping
We'd have our portaloos, for when we go shopping
We could drag them behind us, set on wheels
And thus take advantage of supermarket deals
And cafes, pubs, and clubs, they may not fit
So we could park them outside, if we needed to sit! ...

the dominant reason why in the past
THE TRUTH – the whole of it, uncloaked
never came out while excommunicated
painting a Pariah attempting to seal
in stone with Charges approval

Zoo (Not) Logical
A new addition to the zoo
Currently facing extinction
A wild feral creature
Skittish at times
Wary of humans
The male of this species
Has similar qualities
To that of a chameleon
The female of this species
Can often have a colourful plumage
Yet doesn't often
Share the chameleon qualities
Of her male counterpart
And therefore
Are easier to hunt down
To, perhaps, eventual extinction
There are anomalies
Where, without proper examination
It can be harder to define
Which is which
Which sometimes...

The Land of Stuck
I moan far too much
about being stuck.
Stuck in writer’s block.
Stuck in expectations.
Stuck in fear of rejection.
Stuck has become
a mighty comfortable place,
requiring
nothing.
In the Land of Stuck, I don’t have to
contend with comparison or judgement.
I don’t have to worry about the possibility
of my words having real power.
I don’t have to lose the people
who can’t see me.
I don’t have to get better at my craft,
because it serves no purpose.
Now my Values are getting impatient

Silent Silkworms
I fell asleep
Drifting gently, to the land of dreams
And they, for a change
Were mostly pleasant
I awoke
Feeling umusually relaxed
And at peace
In fact my bed
Felt more comfortable, than usual
As if the bedcovers
Were made of the finest silk
I lay there for a while
Daydreaming, engaging within the harmony of existence
Only disturbed
By the sense, my bed was moving
I opened my eyes
It was pitch black
Yet i always sleep with soft light
Perhaps the light was momentarily lost
I tried...
