The Time Of Love

as the roses rise in the spring time on the picnic table
i watch my friend looking at me like im unresistable
we both love each other like more than a friendship so we are waiting  
for the day to happen
giving me faith to ask her to marry me  
thinking about her all the time  
i would need to find a wife
dreaming it would be her
so close to me  
every time the birds sing
i hold the diamond ring
in my pocket where it will stay
for one more day
...
The day has come when i invite her to another picnic
during the sunset, we both look into each other's eyes
this is the time
i stand up
i go on one knee and hold her hand
and say the words
"Elizabeth Resia Ember, will you do me the lovely honor of being
my beautiful wife?"
She squeezes my hand and leaves
she takes her things without a word
 
I give her some space to think about it  
I call her in a few weeks but she doesnt pick up
She doesnt answer any of my texts or calls
..
A few days later, I see her and i walk up to her
She just ignores me and gets in her car
she drives away and looks at me
I see in her eyes that emotional feeling
I knew i should have left her alone but
i ran after her
when she about to turn,i took my chance
I stopped her car and she came out
She said "what the hell is wrong with you!"
I told her " I have loved you for a very long time.
I can never stopped thinking about you
And I WANT TO BE WITH U FOREVER"
" Please marry me,"
He held her hand and kissed it so many times  
her hand was full of drool
She thought about it but still angry and finally said YES
