The prince of the make believe

Lines of the old redefined, retold
Foreclosed
For its fundaments were foreign
To the public
A silver spoon fed republic
Value dropped
Blackened the hoary gloss
Romantic stories of lost embroil embers elegantly into elaborate dreams
That lay upon the mantel piece in between life and a magical sleep
In the palace of claws that shift and shadows that creep home of
The prince of the make believe
Makes all believe

Unspoken truth of the tool alters but can’t truly situate
A smoke woven noose will interrogate this terrible fate
A cause for the rebel of the faith to rise from his lag state
To pry the fingers from the fickle fiddler that fiddles at hell’s gate
They say his view of the lake is great and not to go unless you intend to stay

A murder of crows mop up another mystery at midnight
Fore some quiver cued them to screech and to flee
Some inkling or instinct unbegotten to me
Carnal patterns shifting under the vacuum of gravity
Crass frantic crashes of lighting then thunder
Corrodes my sanctum of depravity
Embolden the invocation
Laver me with clarity
Chant to me my heretic
Verses of vexing verbs
Cold and grey
Curse of the sex riddled
Scanning curves
Foretold their prey
Of the wolf in lay
Of the curds and
The wayfarer’s safe
Tucked away
Plucked and frayed
Alone in his pain

To drone out
A howlish dismal waling croon
A miserable salute
To an impending doom
The despicable
Perverse creature
With the hay as his cradle
Invert the reason
Vindictive& Vicious
This fable hallowed
Hurtful and hollow
Attracting the horror
Girt by water too shallow
I learnt the dance of the shadows
To enhance the farce of the angels
A picture of the past in the pages
The sister and the ark
Sailing the seas of the ages
The ocean always enraged
Coax our bones in hope
And in rum and lead in whores
We will follow the sun
And sleep tonight
Our heads upon the ocean floor
