mind in a whirl
Thoughts flying ascue,
My head hurts anew.
I cant sleep a wink,
Nor have a strong drink.
There is no getting high,
My stash has run dry.
So I lay here in bed,
Whiles writing in lead.
Many questions I ponder,
With emotions a wander .
A question so simple yes this much is true.
The question itself is , "May I please date you? "
I have known you for a few months tis true,
But not enough to know the real you .
My minds a blur I cant think strait,
Oh why must this add to my plate?
I do not know what to do,
Do I , can I like you too?
The one and only thing you said ,
Has left me crying in my bed.
Not tears of joy nor tears of hate,
But come them from my confused state.
The first of many so it would seem,
Who will ask for my favor to deem.
A friend must you be,
Before dating me.
This belief do I hold true.
Yes sir tis even for you.
My answer is no at least for right now,
But when I know you... we might paint this town.
My head hurts anew.
I cant sleep a wink,
Nor have a strong drink.
There is no getting high,
My stash has run dry.
So I lay here in bed,
Whiles writing in lead.
