Dance of the Devil's Spawn
I felt her touch as chilling as the night,
Her clothes were torn,
Her empty voice and face were such a sight,
A hope forlorn,
She slipped into a mesmerising dance,
She danced ‘til dawn,
I found myself a captive in the trance,
The Devil’s pawn
And then the infant fell between her knees,
Satan’s spawn,
But it didn’t live up to its prophecies,
Evil was born,
He spoke to me of bondage, death and pain,
And he went on,
Over his beloved he would reign,
Then he was gone,
He told me that one day he would return,
And he would scorn,
That all who wouldn’t follow him would burn,
‘til there were none,
Then all of a sudden her dancing ceased,
She was done,
She is deceased,
The end’s begun…
