of this labyrinth
the convoluted
thoughts
his mind could
not extricate
pulling
him
down
deeper
and
deeper
as he lost
his grip
on the
hanging
rope
of life . . .

I like this, it is powerful in it's brevity and conveys a deep sense of being pulled into the undertow of deep depression. Well done, write on.
