Randomization

We don't write about random things anymore
All the abstract meaning is lost in the underlying message
of that secret yet obvious coding signifying the presence
of a bright mind, still, trying to shine brighter

We are all chasing ghosts in our own ways
Digging graves for our own fails
Unknowingly, we build monuments to our shame
Not of bricks and mortar
But of persona and prejudice
And some with needles in veins

Randomization is hard for the one track mind
They all fear what they don't understand
Those who don't know fear don't care
And those who don't care never wonder

What makes the world turn?
What makes a man kill?
What drives the great machine?
What devise is you and me?
