Tears of Truth
Carries the crushing weight of scarring, despite the
gentleness of tongues, the soft caress of hands or
the body feeble attempt at comfort... these tears rips
the quintessence from a forgotten heart ,
removed blinders exposing the truth of a moment
capture at its grandest form, now on a decline
like a faucet slow leak, becoming a constant stream
over flooding the heart ,as the mind continue
pushing truth back believing that this... this
halfhearted attempt at happiness is working...
When faces in mirrors only reflect the side view
because the lifeless eyes tells more truth then
the lips do... these tears will bleed their truth
down cheeks, answering the writing on the walls
that love was never miss placed just not
deep enough to withstand the curves that life
throw..
understanding neither she nor he was in the wrong
only their time has come to an end, kiss those lips goodbye,
even as tears mingle. The truth of what they once was
is more important than the life full of lies they
exist in...
knowing that its okay to simply smile
and walk away letting the truth of
those tears wash over them in acceptance
as love just due...
